Revised Version 1895
Psalms 40:1-10
1I waited patiently for the LORD; and he inclined unto me, and heard my cry.
2He brought meH413 upH413 also outH5186 of an horrible pit, outH5186 of the miry clay; and he set my feet uponH413 a rock, and established my goings.
3And he hath putH5927 a new song in my mouth, evenH5921 praise unto our God: many shall see it, and fear, and shall trust in the LORD.
4Blessed is the manH7200 that maketh the LORDH3068 his trustH982, and respecteth not the proud, nor such as turnH5414 aside to lies.
5Many, O LORDH3068 my GodH3068, are the wonderful works whichH834 thou hast done, and thy thoughts whichH834 are to us-ward: they cannotH3808 be setH7760 in order unto thee; ifH834 I would declare and speak of them, they are moreH3808 thanH3808 canH834 be numbered.
6Sacrifice and offering thou hast noH369 delight in; mine ears hast thou opened: burnt offering and sin offering hast thou notH369 required.
