Psalm 19
Revised Version 1895
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David.
1The heavens declare the glory of God; and the firmament sheweth his handywork.
2Day unto day uttereth speech, and night unto night sheweth knowledge.
3There is no speech nor language; their voice cannot be heard.
4Their line is goneH369 out through allH1697 the earth, and their wordsH1697 to the end of the world. In them hath he set a tabernacle for the sun,
5Which is as a bridegroom comingH3318 outH3318 of his chamber, and rejoiceth as a strong manH3605 to runH7097 his course.
6His goingH3318 forthH3318 is from the endH3318 of the heaven, and his circuit unto the ends of it: and there is nothing hid from the heat thereof.
7The law of the LORD is perfect, restoring the soul: the testimony of the LORD is sure, makingH369 wise the simple.
8The precepts of the LORDH3068 are right, rejoicing the heartH5315: the commandment of the LORDH3068 is pure, enlightening the eyes.
9The fear of the LORDH3068 is cleanH1249, enduring for ever: the judgments of the LORDH3068 are trueH3068, and righteous altogether.
10More to be desired are they than gold, yea, than much fine gold: sweeter also than honey and the honeycomb.
