Psalm 7
Revised Version 1895
Shiggaion of David, which he sang unto the LORD; concerning the words of Cush a Benjamite.
1O LORDH3068 my GodH3068, in thee do I put my trust: save meH5921 from allH1697 them that pursue meH5921, and deliver meH5921:
4IfH518 I have rewarded evilH5766 unto him that was at peace with me; (yea, I have delivered him that without cause was mine adversary:)
5Let the enemyH6887 pursue my soul, and overtake it; yea, let him tread my life down to the earth, and lay my glory in the dust. Selah
6Arise, O LORD, in thine anger, lift up thyself against the rage of mine adversaries: and awake for meH5315; thou hast commanded judgment.
7And let the congregation of the peoples compass thee aboutH5375: and over them return thou on highH5375.
8The LORD ministereth judgment to the peoplesH3816: judge meH7725, O LORD, accordingH5921 to my righteousness, and to mine integrity that is in meH7725.
9Oh let the wickedness of the wicked come to an end, but establish thou the righteousH6664: for the righteousH6664 GodH3068 trieth the hearts and reins.
13He hath also preparedH3559 for him the instruments of death; he maketh his arrowsH7198 fiery shafts.
14Behold, he travaileth with iniquity; yea, he hath conceived mischief, and brought forth falsehood.
15He hath made a pit, and digged it, and is fallen into the ditch which he made.
