Psalm 70

Revised Version 1895

For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of David; to bring to remembrance.

1MakeH2142 haste, O God, to deliver meH2142; makeH2142 haste to help meH2142, O LORD.
2Let them be ashamed and confounded that seek after my soul: let them be turned backward and brought to dishonour that delight in my hurt.
3LetH5315 them be turnedH5472 backH268 by reason of their shameH954 that say, Aha, Aha.
4Let all thoseH5921 that seek thee rejoice and be glad in thee; and let such as love thy salvation sayH559 continually, Let GodH559 be magnified.
5But I am poor and needy; makeH8055 haste unto meH8055, O GodH430: thou art my helpH3444 and my delivererH3444; O LORD, makeH8055 noH3605 tarrying.
