Psalm 85
Revised Version 1895
For the Chief Musician. A Psalm of the sons of Korah.
1LORD, Thou hast been favourable unto thy land: thou hast brought back the captivity of Jacob.
3Thou hast takenH5375 awayH5375 allH3605 thy wrath: thou hast turned thyself from the fierceness of thine angerH5375.
4TurnH7725 usH7725, O God of our salvation, and causeH7725 thine indignation towardH7725 usH7725 to cease.
5Wilt thou be angry with usH7725 for everH7725? wilt thou drawH7725 out thine anger to all generations?
6Wilt thou not quicken us again: that thy people may rejoice in thee?
8I will hear what GodH3068 the LORDH3068 will speak: for he will speak peace unto his peopleH7200, and to his saints: but letH5414 them not turnH5414 again to folly.
10Mercy and truth are met together; righteousness and peace have kissed each other.
