Matthew 11:16-27

16“But to whatG5101 shall I compareG3666 thisG3778 generationG1074? It is likeG3664 childrenG3813 sittingG2521 in the marketplacesG58, whoG3739 callG4377 outG4377 to the otherG2087 children, 17and sayG3004, ‘We playedG832 theG832 fluteG832 for you, and you did not danceG3738; we sangG2354 aG2354 songG2354 ofG2354 mourningG2354, and you did not 1mournG2875.’ 18For JohnG2491 cameG2064 neitherG3383 2eatingG2068 norG3383 3drinkingG4095, and they sayG3004, ‘4He hasG2192 a demonG1140!’ 19The SonG5207 of ManG444 cameG2064 eatingG2068 and drinkingG4095, and they sayG3004, ‘BeholdG2400, a gluttonousG5314 manG444 and a 5heavyG3630 drinkerG3630, 6a friendG5384 of taxG5057 collectorsG5057 and 7sinnersG268!’ And yet wisdomG4678 is vindicatedG1344 by her deedsG2041.”

20ThenG5119 He beganG757 to reprimandG3679 the citiesG4172 in whichG3739 mostG4183 of His 89miraclesG1411 were doneG1096, becauseG3754 they did not repentG3340. 21“10WoeG3759 to you, ChorazinG5523! WoeG3759 to you, 11BethsaidaG966! For ifG1487 the 12miraclesG1411 that occurredG1096 in you had occurredG1096 in 13TyreG5184 and 14SidonG4605, they would have repentedG3340 longG3819 agoG3819 in 1516sackclothG4526 and ashesG4700. 22NeverthelessG4133 I sayG3004 to you, 17it will be moreG414 tolerableG414 for TyreG5184 and SidonG4605 on 18the dayG2250 of judgmentG2920 thanG2228 for you. 23And you, 19CapernaumG2746, will not be exaltedG5312 to heavenG3772, will you? You will be 20broughtG2597 downG2597 to 21HadesG86! For ifG1487 the 22miraclesG1411 that occurredG1096 in you had occurredG1096 in 23SodomG4670, it would have remainedG3306 to thisG4594 dayG4594. 24NeverthelessG4133 I sayG3004 to you that 24it will be moreG414 tolerableG414 for the landG1093 of 25SodomG4670 on the dayG2250 of judgmentG2920, thanG2228 for you.”

252627At that timeG2540 JesusG2424 saidG3004, “I praiseG1843 You, 28FatherG3962, LordG2962 of heavenG3772 and earthG1093, that 29You have hiddenG2928 theseG3778 thingsG3778 from the wiseG4680 and intelligentG4908, and have revealedG601 them to infantsG3516. 26YesG3483, 30FatherG3962, for thisG3779 wayG3779 was wellG2107 pleasingG2107 in Your sightG1715. 2731AllG3956 thingsG3956 have been handedG3860 overG3860 to Me by My FatherG3962; and noG3762 oneG3762 knowsG1921 the SonG5207 exceptG1508 the FatherG3962; norG3761 does anyoneG5100 knowG1921 the FatherG3962 32exceptG1508 the SonG5207, and anyone to whomG3739 the SonG5207 determinesG1014 to revealG601 Him.
