37NowG1161 on 1the lastG2078 dayG2250, the greatG3173 day of the feastG1859, JesusG2424 stoodG2476 and criedG2896 outG2896, sayingG3004, “2IfG1437 anyoneG5100 isG1372 thirstyG1372, 3let him comeG2064 to Me and drinkG4095. 38The one who believesG4100 in Me, 4as the ScriptureG1124 saidG3004, ‘5From his innermostG2836 beingG2836 will flowG4482 riversG4215 of 6livingG2198 waterG5204.’” 39But thisG3778 He saidG3004 7inG4012 referenceG4012 toG4012 the SpiritG4151, whomG3739 thoseG3588 who believedG4100 in Him were to receiveG2983; for 8the SpiritG4151 was not yetG3768 given, becauseG3754 JesusG2424 was not yetG3764 9glorifiedG1392.

40Some of the peopleG3793 thereforeG3767, after they heardG191 theseG3778 wordsG3056, were sayingG3004, “ThisG3778 trulyG230 is 10the ProphetG4396.” 41OthersG243 were sayingG3004, “ThisG3778 is the 11ChristG5547.” But othersG3588 were sayingG3004, “12SurelyG1063 G3361 the 13ChristG5547 is not comingG2064 from GalileeG1056, is He? 42Has the ScriptureG1124 not saidG3004 that the ChristG5547 comesG2064 from 14the descendantsG4690 of DavidG1160, and from BethlehemG965, the villageG2968 whereG3699 DavidG1160 was?” 43SoG3767 15a dissensionG4978 occurredG1096 in the crowdG3793 becauseG1223 of Him. 44And 16someG5100 of them wantedG2309 to arrestG4084 Him, but noG3762 oneG3762 laidG1911 handsG5495 on Him.
