1 Corinthians 11:24-34
24and when He had givenG2168 thanksG2168, He brokeG2806 it and saidG3004, “ThisG3778 is My bodyG4983, which is for you; doG4160 thisG3778 in remembranceG364 of Me.” 25In the sameG5615 wayG5615 He alsoG2532 took 1the cupG4221 afterG3326 supperG1172, sayingG3004, “ThisG3778 cupG4221 is the 2newG2537 covenantG1242 in My bloodG129; doG4160 thisG3778, as oftenG3740 as you drinkG4095 it, in remembranceG364 of Me.” 26For as oftenG3740 as you eatG2068 thisG3778 breadG740 and drinkG4095 the cupG4221, you proclaimG2605 the Lord’sG2962 deathG2288 3untilG891 He comesG2064.
27ThereforeG5620 whoeverG3739G302 eatsG2068 the breadG740 orG2228 drinksG4095 the cupG4221 of the LordG2962 in an unworthyG371 wayG371, shall be 4guiltyG1777 of the bodyG4983 and the bloodG129 of the LordG2962. 28But a personG444 must 5examineG1381 himselfG1438, and inG3779 soG3779 doingG3779 he is to eatG2068 of the breadG740 and drinkG4095 of the cupG4221. 29For the oneG3588 who eatsG2068 and drinksG4095, eatsG2068 and drinksG4095 judgmentG2917 to himselfG1438 if he does not properly recognizeG1252 the 6bodyG4983. 30For thisG3778 reasonG1223 manyG4183 amongG1722 you are weakG772 and sickG732, and a numberG2425 78areG2837 asleepG2837. 31But ifG1487 we judgedG1252 ourselvesG1438 rightlyG1252, we would not be judgedG2919. 32But when we are judgedG2919, we are 9disciplinedG3811 by the LordG2962 soG2443 thatG2443 we will not be condemnedG2632 alongG4862 with 10the worldG2889.
33SoG5620 thenG5620, my brothersG80 and sisters, when you comeG4905 togetherG4905 to eatG2068, waitG1551 forG1551 oneG240 anotherG240. 34IfG1487 anyoneG5100 is 11hungryG3983, have him eatG2068 12at homeG3624, soG2443 thatG2443 you do not comeG4905 togetherG4905 for judgmentG2917. As to the remainingG3062 mattersG3062, I will 13giveG1299 instructionsG1299 14whenG5613 I comeG2064.
