1 Corinthians 11:24-34
24and when He had givenG2168 thanksG2168, He brokeG2806 it and saidG3004, “ThisG3778 is My bodyG4983, which is for you; doG4160 thisG3778 in remembranceG364 of Me.” 25In the sameG5615 wayG5615 He took 1the cupG4221 alsoG2532 afterG3326 supperG1172, sayingG3004, “ThisG3778 cupG4221 is the 2newG2537 covenantG1242 in My bloodG129; doG4160 thisG3778, as oftenG3740 as you drinkG4095 it, in remembranceG364 of Me.” 26For as oftenG3740 as you eatG2068 thisG3778 breadG740 and drinkG4095 the cupG4221, you proclaimG2605 the Lord’sG2962 deathG2288 3untilG891 He comesG2064.
27ThereforeG5620 whoeverG3739G302 eatsG2068 the breadG740 orG2228 drinksG4095 the cupG4221 of the LordG2962 in an unworthyG371 mannerG371, shall be 4guiltyG1777 of the bodyG4983 and the bloodG129 of the LordG2962. 28But a manG444 must 5examineG1381 himselfG1438, and in soG3779 doing he is to eatG2068 of the breadG740 and drinkG4095 of the cupG4221. 29For he who eatsG2068 and drinksG4095, eatsG2068 and drinksG4095 judgmentG2917 to himselfG1438 if he does not judgeG1252 the bodyG4983 rightly. 30For thisG3778 reasonG1223 manyG4183 amongG1722 you are weakG772 and sickG732, and a numberG2425 67sleepG2837. 31But ifG1487 we judgedG1252 ourselvesG1438 rightly, we would not be judgedG2919. 32But when we are judgedG2919, we are 8disciplinedG3811 by the LordG2962 soG2443 that we will not be condemnedG2632 alongG4862 with 9the worldG2889.
33SoG5620 thenG5620, my brethrenG80, when you comeG4905 togetherG4905 to eatG2068, waitG1551 for oneG240 anotherG240. 34IfG1487 anyoneG5100 is 10hungryG3983, let him eatG2068 11at homeG3624, soG2443 that you will not comeG4905 togetherG4905 for judgmentG2917. The remainingG3062 matters I will 12arrangeG1299 13whenG5613 I comeG2064.
