13“But woeΟὐαὶOuaiG3759to you, scribesγραμματεῖςgrammateisG1122and PhariseesΦαρισαῖοιPharisaioiG5330,hypocritesὑποκριταί,hupokritaiG5273,becauseὅτιhotiG3754you shutκλείετεkleieteG2808the kingdomβασιλείανbasileianG932of heavenοὐρανῶνouranōnG3772inG1715frontG1715ofG1715peopleἀνθρώπων·anthrōpōnG444;for you do not enterεἰσέρχεσθεeiserchestheG1525ityourselvesG4771,norοὐδὲoudeG3761do you allowἀφίετεaphieteG863thoseG3588who are enteringεἰσερχομένουςeiserchomenousG1525to goεἰσελθεῖν.¶eiseltheinG1525inG1525.

16“WoeΟὐαὶOuaiG3759to you,blindτυφλοὶtuphloiG5185guidesὁδηγοὶhodēgoiG3595,who sayλέγοντες·legontesG3004, ‘Whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302swearsὀμόσῃomosēG3660by thetempleναῷ,naōG3485, thatis nothingοὐδένoudenG3762;but whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302swearsὀμόσῃomosēG3660by the goldχρυσῷchrusōG5557of thetempleναοῦ,naouG3485is obligatedὀφείλει.opheileiG3784.’

17You foolsμωροὶmōroiG3474and blindτυφλοί,tuphloiG5185menG5185!WhichτίςtisG5101ismoreG3173importantG3173,the goldχρυσὸςchrusosG5557orἢēG2228thetempleναὸςnaosG3485that sanctifiedἁγιάσαςhagiasasG37the goldχρυσόν;chrusonG5557?

18And you say, ‘Whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302swearsὀμόσῃomosēG3660by the altarθυσιαστηρίῳ,thusiastēriōG2379, thatis nothingοὐδένoudenG3762;but whoeverὃς ἂνhos anG3739 G302swearsὀμόσῃomosēG3660by theofferingδώρῳdōrōG1435that is on it is obligatedὀφείλει.opheileiG3784.’

19You blindτυφλοί,tuphloiG5185menG5185,whichτίtiG5101ismoreG3173importantG3173, theofferingδῶρονdōronG1435orἢēG2228the altarθυσιαστήριονthusiastērionG2379that sanctifiesἁγιάζονhagiazonG37theofferingδῶρον;dōronG1435?

20ThereforeοὖνounG3767,the one who swearsὀμόσαςomosasG3660by the altarθυσιαστηρίῳthusiastēriōG2379,swearsὀμνύειomnueiG3660both bythe altarG2379and by everythingπᾶσινpasinG3956on it.

21And the one who swearsὀμόσαςomosasG3660by thetempleναῷnaōG3485,swearsὀμνύειomnueiG3660both bythe templeG846and by Him whodwellsκατοικοῦντιkatoikountiG2730in it.

22And the one who swearsὀμόσαςomosasG3660byheavenοὐρανῷouranōG3772,swearsὀμνύειomnueiG3660bothby the throneθρόνῳthronōG2362of GodθεοῦtheouG2316and by Him who sitsκαθημένῳkathēmenōG2521upon it.
