27Now was Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478not alaughingstockהַשְּׂחֹ֗קha.se.ChokH7814to you? OrH518was hecaughtנִמְצָ֑אnim.tza.'ah'H4672among thievesבְּגַנָּבִ֖יםbe.ga.na.VimH1590?For wheneverמִדֵּ֧יmi.DeiH4480 H1767you speakדְבָרֶ֥יךָde.va.Rei.khaH1697about him youshakeתִּתְנוֹדָֽד׃tit.no.DadH5110your head in scorn.

28Leaveעִזְב֤וּ'iz.VuH5800the citiesעָרִים֙'a.RimH5892and liveוְשִׁכְנ֣וּve.shikh.NuH7931among therockyH5553cliffsH5553,You inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֖יyo.she.VeiH3427of Moabמוֹאָ֑בmo.'AvH4124, And be like adoveכְיוֹנָ֔הkhe.yo.NahH3123that nestsתְּקַנֵּ֖ןte.ka.NenH7077Beyondבְּעֶבְרֵ֥יbe.'ev.ReiH5676the mouthפִי־fi-H6310of the chasmפָֽחַת׃Fa.chatH6354.

29We have heardשָׁמַ֥עְנוּsha.Ma'.nuH8085of the prideגְאוֹן־ge.'on-H1347of Moabמוֹאָ֖בmo.'AvH4124--he isveryמְאֹ֑דme.'OdH3966proudגֵּאֶ֣הge.'EhH1343--Of his haughtinessH7312, hisprideוּגְאוֹנ֛וֹu.ge.'o.NoH1347,his arroganceוְגַאֲוָת֖וֹve.ga.'a.va.ToH1346, andhis self-exaltationלִבּֽוֹ׃li.BoH3820 H7312.

30I knowיָדַ֙עְתִּי֙ya.Da'.TiH3045hisfuryעֶבְרָת֖וֹev.ra.ToH5678,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068, “But it is futileוְלֹא־ve.lo'-H3808 H3653;His idleH907boastsבַּדָּ֖יוba.DavH907have accomplishedעָשֽׂוּ׃'a.SuH6213nothingלֹא־lo'-H3808.

31Thereforeכֵּן֙kenH5921 H3651I willwailאֲיֵלִ֔יל'a.ye.LilH3213for Moabמוֹאָ֣בmo.'AvH4124,For allכֻּלֹּ֖הku.LohH3605of Moabוּלְמוֹאָ֥בu.le.mo.'AvH4124I will cryאֶזְעָ֑ק'ez.'AkH2199outH2199;I will moanיֶהְגֶּֽה׃yeh.GehH1897for the menH376ofKir-heresH7025.

32MoreH4480thanH4480theweepingמִבְּכִ֨יmi.be.KhiH1065forJazerיַעְזֵ֤רya'.ZerH3270I will weepאֶבְכֶּה־'ev.keh-H1058for you, O vineהַגֶּ֣פֶןha.Ge.fenH1612of Sibmahשִׂבְמָ֔הsiv.MahH7643!Your tendrilsנְטִֽישֹׁתַ֙יִךְ֙ne.ti.sho.Ta.yikhH5189stretchedH5674acrossH5674the seaיָ֔םYamH3220,They reachedנָגָ֑עוּna.Ga.'uH5060to the seaיָ֥םyamH3220of Jazerיַעְזֵ֖רya'.ZerH3270;Upon your summerקֵיצֵ֥ךְkei.TzekhH7019fruitsH7019and your grapeבְּצִירֵ֖ךְbe.tzi.RekhH1210harvestH1210The destroyerשֹׁדֵ֥דsho.DedH7703has fallenנָפָֽל׃na.FalH5307.

33Sojoyשִׂמְחָ֥הsim.ChahH8057and rejoicingוָגִ֛ילva.GilH1524are removedוְנֶאֶסְפָ֨הve.ne.'es.FahH622From the fruitfulH3759fieldH3759,and from the landוּמֵאֶ֣רֶץu.me.'E.retzH776of Moabמוֹאָ֑בmo.'AvH4124. And I haveeliminatedהִשְׁבַּ֔תִּיhish.Ba.tiH7673the wineוְיַ֙יִן֙ve.Ya.yinH3196from the wineH3342pressesH3342;NoH3808one will treadיִדְרֹ֣ךְyid.RokhH1869themwith shoutingהֵידָ֔דhei.DadH1959,The shoutingהֵידָ֖דhei.DadH1959will not be shoutsהֵידָֽד׃hei.DadH1959of joy.

34From the outcryמִזַּעֲקַ֨תmi.za.'a.KatH2201at Heshbonחֶשְׁבּ֜וֹןchesh.BonH2809toElealehאֶלְעָלֵ֗ה'el.'a.LehH500,to Jahazיַ֙הַץ֙ya.hatzH3096they haveraisedנָתְנ֣וּna.te.NuH5414their voiceקוֹלָ֔םko.LamH6963, fromZoarמִצֹּ֙עַר֙mi.Tzo.'arH6820to Horonaimחֹ֣רֹנַ֔יִםcho.ro.Na.yimH2773, and toEglath-shelishiyahשְׁלִֽשִׁיָּ֑הshe.li.shi.YahH5700 H7992;for evenגַּם־gam-H1571the watersמֵ֣יmeiH4325of Nimrimנִמְרִ֔יםnim.RimH5249will becomeיִהְיֽוּ׃yih.YuH1961desolateלִמְשַׁמּ֖וֹתlim.sha.MotH4923.

35And I will putוְהִשְׁבַּתִּ֥יve.hish.ba.TiH7673anH7673endH7673to Moabלְמוֹאָ֖בle.mo.'AvH4124,”declaresנְאֻם־ne.'um-H5002the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068, “the one who offersמַעֲלֶ֣הma.'a.LehH5927sacrifice on thehighבָמָ֔הva.MahH1116placeH1116and the one whoburnsH6999incenseH6999to his godsלֵאלֹהָֽיו׃le.lo.HavH430.
