8So they cameוַיָּבֹ֥אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֖הge.dal.YahH1436at Mizpahהַמִּצְפָּ֑תָהha.mitz.Pa.tahH4709, along withIshmaelוְיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אלve.yish.ma.'ElH3458the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nethaniahנְתַנְיָ֡הוּne.tan.Ya.huH5418,JohananH3076and JonathanH3083the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121of Kareahקָ֠רֵחַKa.re.achH7143,Seraiahוּשְׂרָיָ֨הu.se.ra.YahH8304the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Tanhumethתַּנְחֻ֜מֶתtan.Chu.metH8576,the sonsוּבְנֵ֣י׀u.ve.NeiH1121of Ephaiעֵיפַ֣יo.faiH5778theNetophathiteהַנְּטֹפָתִ֗יha.ne.to.fa.TiH5200, andJezaniahH3153the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of theMaacathiteהַמַּ֣עֲכָתִ֔יha.Ma.'a.kha.TiH4602, boththey and their menH376.

9Then Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֨הוּge.dal.Ya.huH1436the sonבֶן־ven-H1121of Ahikamאֲחִיקָ֤ם'a.chi.KamH296,the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Shaphanשָׁפָן֙sha.FanH8227,sworeוַיִּשָּׁבַ֨עvai.yi.sha.Va'H7650to them and to their menH376,sayingלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559, “Do not beH3372afraidתִּֽירְא֖וּti.re.'UH3372of servingמֵעֲב֣וֹדme.'a.VodH5647the Chaldeansהַכַּשְׂדִּ֑יםha.kas.DimH3778;stayשְׁב֣וּshe.VuH3427in the landבָאָ֗רֶץva.'A.retzH776and serveוְעִבְד֛וּve.'iv.DuH5647the kingמֶ֥לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Babylonבָּבֶ֖לba.VelH894,so that it may goוְיִיטַ֥בve.yi.TavH3190wellH3190for you.

10Now as for me, beholdH2009,I am going to stayיֹשֵׁב֙yo.ShevH3427in Mizpahבַּמִּצְפָּ֔הba.mitz.PahH4709tostandלַֽעֲמֹד֙la.'a.ModH5975for youbeforeלִפְנֵ֣יlif.NeiH6440the Chaldeansהַכַּשְׂדִּ֔יםha.kas.DimH3778whoH834comeיָבֹ֖אוּya.Vo.'uH935to us; but as for you,gatherאִסְפוּ֩'is.FuH622wineיַ֨יִןYa.yinH3196,summerוְקַ֜יִץve.Ka.yitzH7019fruitH7019,and oilוְשֶׁ֗מֶןve.She.menH8081,and putוְשִׂ֙מוּ֙ve.Si.muH7760them in your storagevesselsבִּכְלֵיכֶ֔םbikh.lei.KhemH3627,and liveוּשְׁב֖וּu.she.VuH3427in your citiesבְּעָרֵיכֶ֥םbe.'a.rei.KhemH5892that you have takenH8610overH8610.”
