12Then allכָל־khol-H3605the Jewsהַיְּהוּדִ֗יםhai.ye.hu.DimH3064returnedוַיָּשֻׁ֣בוּvai.ya.Shu.vuH7725from allמִכָּל־mi.kolH3605the placesהַמְּקֹמוֹת֙ha.me.ko.mOtH4725to whichאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834they had been scatteredנִדְּחוּ־ni.de.chu-H5080and cameוַיָּבֹ֧אוּvai.ya.Vo.'uH935to the landאֶֽרֶץ־'e.retz-H776of Judahיְהוּדָ֛הye.hu.DahH3063,to Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֖הוּge.dal.Ya.huH1436at Mizpahהַמִּצְפָּ֑תָהha.mitz.Pa.tahH4709,and gatheredוַיַּאַסְפ֛וּvai.ya.'as.FuH622wineיַ֥יִןYa.yinH3196and summerוָקַ֖יִץva.Ka.yitzH7019fruitH7019inH622greatמְאֹֽד׃ פme.'OdH3966abundanceהַרְבֵּ֥הhar.BehH7235.

13Now JohananH3076the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Kareahקָרֵ֔חַka.Re.achH7143and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605the commandersשָׂרֵ֥יsa.ReiH8269of the forcesהַחֲיָלִ֖יםha.cha.ya.LimH2428that were in the fieldבַּשָּׂדֶ֑הba.sa.DehH7704cameבָּ֥אוּBa.'uH935to Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֖הוּge.dal.Ya.huH1436at Mizpahהַמִּצְפָּֽתָה׃ha.mitz.Pa.tahH4709,

14and saidוַיֹּאמְר֣וּvai.yo.me.RuH559to him, “AreH3045you wellH3045awareH3045that Baalisבַּעֲלִ֣יס׀ba.'a.LisH1185the kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of the sonsבְּנֵֽי־be.nei-H1121ofAmmonעַמּ֗וֹןa.MonH5983has sentשָׁלַח֙sha.LachH7971Ishmaelיִשְׁמָעֵ֣אלyish.ma.'ElH3458the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Nethaniahנְתַנְיָ֔הne.tan.YahH5418to takeלְהַכֹּתְךָ֖le.ha.ko.te.KhaH5221your lifeנָ֑פֶשׁNa.feshH5315?”But Gedaliahגְּדַלְיָ֖הוּge.dal.Ya.huH1436the sonבֶּן־ben-H1121of Ahikamאֲחִיקָֽם׃'a.chi.KamH296did not believeהֶאֱמִ֣יןhe.'e.MinH539them.
