1The wordהַדָּבָ֞רha.da.VarH1697that cameהָיָ֤הha.YahH1961to Jeremiahיִרְמְיָ֙הוּ֙yir.me.Ya.huH3414from the Lordיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068afterאַחַ֣ר׀'a.CharH310Nebuzaradanנְבוּזַרְאֲדָ֛ןne.vu.zar.'a.DanH5018captainרַב־rav-H7227of the bodyguardטַבָּחִ֖יםta.ba.ChimH2876had releasedשַׁלַּ֣חsha.LachH7971him fromRamahהָֽרָמָ֑הha.ra.MahH7414,when he had takenבְּקַחְתּ֣וֹbe.kach.ToH3947him boundאָס֤וּר'a.SurH631inchainsבָּֽאזִקִּים֙ba.zi.KimH246amongבְּת֨וֹךְbe.TokhH8432allכָּל־kol-H3605the exilesגָּל֤וּתga.LutH1546of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֙ם֙ye.ru.sha.LimH3389and Judahוִֽיהוּדָ֔הvi.hu.DahH3063who were being exiledהַמֻּגְלִ֖יםha.mug.LimH1540to Babylonבָּבֶֽלָה׃ba.Ve.lahH894.
2Now the captainרַב־rav-H7227of the bodyguardטַבָּחִ֖יםta.ba.ChimH2876had takenוַיִּקַּ֥חvai.yi.KachH3947Jeremiahלְיִרְמְיָ֑הוּle.yir.me.Ya.huH3414and saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to him, “TheLordיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068your Godאֱלֹהֶ֗יךָ'e.lo.Hei.khaH430promisedדִּבֶּר֙di.BerH1696thisH2088disasterH7463againstH413thisH2088placeהַמָּק֖וֹםha.ma.KomH4725;
3and the Lordיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068has broughtוַיָּבֵ֥אvai.ya.Ve'H935itand doneוַיַּ֛עַשׂvai.Ya.'asH6213justH3512asH3512He promisedדִּבֵּ֑רdi.BerH1696.Becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588you peoplesinnedחֲטָאתֶ֤םcha.ta.TemH2398against the Lordלַֽיהוָה֙la.Yah.wehH3068and did not listenשְׁמַעְתֶּ֣םshe.ma'.TemH8085to His voiceבְּקוֹל֔וֹbe.ko.LoH6963,thisהַזֶּֽה׃ha.ZehH2088thingהַדָּבָ֥רha.da.varH1697has happenedוְהָיָ֥הve.ha.YahH1961to you.
4But nowוְעַתָּ֞הve.'a.TahH6258,beholdהִנֵּ֧הhi.NehH2009, I amsettingפִתַּחְתִּ֣יךָfi.tach.Ti.khaH6605you freeH6605todayהַיּ֗וֹםhai.YomH3117from the chainsהָאזִקִּים֮ha.zi.KimH246that are on your handsיָדֶךָ֒ya.de.KhaH3027.Ifאִם־'im-H518you would preferH2896H5869to comeלָב֧וֹאla.Vo'H935with me to Babylonבָבֶ֗לva.VelH894,comeבֹּ֚אbo'H935along, and I willlookוְאָשִׂ֤יםve.'a.SimH7760H5869afterH5921you; but ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518you would preferH7489H5869notH7489to comeלָבֽוֹא־la.Vo'-H935with me to Babylonבָבֶ֖לva.VelH894,doH2308notH2308come.Lookרְאֵה֙re.'EhH7200, thewholeכָּל־kol-H3605landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776is beforeלְפָנֶ֔יךָle.fa.Nei.khaH6440you; goלָלֶ֥כֶתla.Le.khetH1980whereverשָׁ֖מָּהSha.mahH8033it seems goodH2896and rightהַיָּשָׁ֧רhai.ya.SharH3477for you to goלֵֽךְ׃LekhH1980.”
