24Yet the kingהַמֶּ֙לֶךְ֙ha.Me.lekhH4428and allוְכָל־ve.kholH3605his servantsעֲבָדָ֔יו'a.va.DavH5650who heardהַשֹּׁ֣מְעִ֔יםha.Sho.me.'ImH8085allכָּל־kol-H3605theseהָאֵֽלֶּה׃ha.'E.lehH428wordsהַדְּבָרִ֖יםha.de.va.RimH1697didnot trembleH6342inH6342fearH6342,norH3808did theytearקָרְע֖וּka.re.'UH7167their garmentsבִּגְדֵיהֶ֑םbig.dei.HemH899.

25Even thoughוְגַם֩ve.GamH1571Elnathanאֶלְנָתָ֨ן'el.na.TanH494,Delaiahוּדְלָיָ֤הוּu.de.la.Ya.huH1806,and Gemariahוּגְמַרְיָ֙הוּ֙u.ge.mar.Ya.huH1587urgedהִפְגִּ֣עוּhif.Gi.'uH6293the kingבַמֶּ֔לֶךְva.Me.lekhH4428not to burnשְׂרֹ֖ףse.RofH8313the scrollהַמְּגִלָּ֑הha.me.gi.LahH4039,he would not listenשָׁמַ֖עsha.Ma'H8085to them.

29And concerningH5921Jehoiakimיְהוֹיָקִ֤יםye.ho.ya.KimH3079kingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Judahיְהוּדָה֙ye.hu.DahH3063you shall sayH559, ‘ThisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068saysH559: “You haveburnedשָׂרַ֜פְתָּsa.Raf.taH8313thisH2088scrollהַמְּגִלָּ֤הha.me.gi.LahH4039,sayingH559, ‘Whyמַדּוּעַ֩ma.du.a'H4069have you writtenכָּתַ֨בְתָּka.Tav.taH3789on it that thekingמֶֽלֶךְ־Me.lekh-H4428of Babylonבָּבֶל֙ba.VelH894will certainlyבֹּֽא־bo'-H935comeיָב֤וֹאya.Vo'H935and destroyוְהִשְׁחִית֙ve.hish.ChitH7843thisH2088landהָאָ֣רֶץha.'A.retzH776,and will make mankindאָדָ֥ם'a.DamH120and animalsוּבְהֵמָֽה׃ סu.ve.he.MahH929disappearוְהִשְׁבִּ֥יתve.hish.BitH7673from it?’”

30Thereforeלָכֵ֞ןla.KhenH3651thisH3541isH3541whatH3541the Lordיְהוָ֗הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559concerningH5921Jehoiakimיְהֽוֹיָקִים֙ye.ho.ya.KimH3079kingמֶ֣לֶךְMe.lekhH4428of Judahיְהוּדָ֔הye.hu.DahH3063: “He shall haveH1961noלֹא־lo'-H3808one to sitיוֹשֵׁ֖בyo.ShevH3427on the throneכִּסֵּ֣אki.Se'H3678of Davidדָוִ֑דda.VidH1732, and hisdeadH5038bodyH5038shall be thrownH7993outH7993to the heatלַחֹ֥רֶבla.Cho.revH2721of the dayבַּיּ֖וֹםbai.YomH3117and the frostוְלַקֶּ֥רַחve.la.Ke.rachH7140of the nightבַּלָּֽיְלָה׃ba.La.ye.lahH3915.

31I will alsopunishוּפָקַדְתִּ֨יu.fa.kad.TiH6485him, hisdescendantsזַרְע֛וֹzar.'OH2233,and his servantsעֲבָדָ֖יו'a.va.DavH5650for their wrongdoingעֲוֹנָ֑ם'a.vo.NamH5771, and I willbringוְהֵבֵאתִ֣יve.he.ve.TiH935on them and the inhabitantsיֹשְׁבֵ֨יyo.she.VeiH3427of Jerusalemיְרוּשָׁלִַ֜םye.ru.sha.LimH3389and the peopleאִ֣ישׁ'ishH376of Judahיְהוּדָ֗הye.hu.DahH3063allכָּל־kol-H3605the disasterH7463that I have declaredדִּבַּ֥רְתִּיdi.Bar.tiH1696to them--but they did not listenשָׁמֵֽעוּ׃ סsha.Me.'uH8085.”’”
