24that you builtוַתִּבְנִי־va.tiv.ni-H1129yourself ashrineגֶּ֑בGevH1354and madeוַתַּעֲשִׂי־va.ta.'a.si-H6213yourself ahighרָמָ֖הra.MahH7413placeH7413in everyבְּכָל־be.kholH3605publicH7339squareH7339.

25You builtבָּנִית֙ba.NitH1129yourself a highרָֽמָתֵ֔ךְra.ma.TekhH7413placeH7413at the beginningרֹ֣אשׁroshH7218ofeveryכָּל־kol-H3605streetדֶּ֗רֶךְDe.rekhH1870and madeH8581your beautyיָפְיֵ֔ךְya.fe.YekhH3308abominableH8581,and you spreadוַתְּפַשְּׂקִ֥יva.te.fa.se.KiH6589your legsרַגְלַ֖יִךְrag.La.yikhH7272to everyלְכָל־le.kholH3605passer-byעוֹבֵ֑רo.VerH5674and multipliedוַתַּרְבִּ֖יva.tar.BiH7235your obsceneH8457practiceH8457.

26You also committedH2181prostitutionH2181with the Egyptiansבְּנֵֽי־ מִצְרַ֛יִםbe.nei- mitz.Ra.yimH1121 H4714, yourlustfulגִּדְלֵ֣י בָשָׂ֑רgid.Lei va.SarH1320 H1432neighborsשְׁכֵנַ֖יִךְshe.khe.Na.yikhH7934,and multipliedוַתַּרְבִּ֥יva.tar.BiH7235your obsceneH8457practiceH8457toprovokeלְהַכְעִיסֵֽנִי׃le.hakh.'i.Se.niH3707Me toH3707angerH3707.

27So beholdוְהִנֵּ֨הve.hi.NehH2009,I have stretchedנָטִ֤יתִיna.Ti.tiH5186outH5186My handיָדִי֙ya.DiH3027againstעָלַ֔יִךְ'a.La.yikhH5921you and cutH1639backH1639your rationsחֻקֵּ֑ךְchu.KekhH2706.And I turnedH5414you overH5414to the desireבְּנֶ֤פֶשׁbe.Ne.feshH5315of those who hateשֹׂנְאוֹתַ֙יִךְ֙so.ne.'o.Ta.yikhH8130you, thedaughtersבְּנ֣וֹתbe.NotH1323of the Philistinesפְּלִשְׁתִּ֔יםpe.lish.TimH6430,who are ashamedהַנִּכְלָמ֖וֹתha.nikh.la.MotH3637of your outrageousזִמָּֽה׃zi.MahH2154conductמִדַּרְכֵּ֥ךְmi.dar.KekhH1870.

28Moreover, you committedH2181prostitutionH2181with theAssyriansבְּנֵ֣י אַשּׁ֔וּרbe.Nei 'a.ShurH1121 H804becauseH4480you were not satisfiedשָׂבְעָתֵ֑ךְsa.ve.'a.TekhH7654;you committedH2181prostitutionH2181with them and stillוְגַ֖םve.GamH1571wereH7646not satisfiedH7646.

29You also multipliedוַתַּרְבִּ֧יva.tar.BiH7235your obsceneH8457practiceH8457with the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of merchantsכְּנַ֖עַןke.Na.'anH3667,Chaldeaכַּשְׂדִּ֑ימָהkas.Di.mahH3778;yet evenוְגַם־ve.gam-H1571with thisH2088you wereH7646not satisfiedH7646.”’”

30“Howמָ֤הmahH4100feverishאֲמֻלָה֙'a.mu.LahH535is your heartלִבָּתֵ֔ךְli.ba.TekhH3826,”declaresנְאֻ֖םne.'UmH5002the Lordאֲדֹנָ֣י'a.do.NaiH136 GodH3068, “while you doבַּעֲשׂוֹתֵךְ֙ba.'a.so.teKhH6213allכָּל־kol-H3605theseאֵ֔לֶּה'E.lehH428thingsH4639,the actionH4639of aboldH7989prostituteאִשָּֽׁה־ זוֹנָ֖ה'i.shah- zo.NahH802 H2181!

31When you builtבִּבְנוֹתַ֤יִךְbiv.no.Ta.yikhH1129your shrineגַּבֵּךְ֙ga.beKhH1354at the beginningבְּרֹ֣אשׁbe.RoshH7218of everyכָּל־kol-H3605streetדֶּ֔רֶךְDe.rekhH1870and madeעָשִׂ֖יתa.si.tiH6213your highוְרָמָתֵ֥ךְve.ra.ma.TekhH7413placeH7413in everyבְּכָל־be.kholH3605publicH7339squareH7339, inspurningלְקַלֵּ֥סle.ka.LesH7046a prostitute’sאֶתְנָֽן׃'et.NanH868feeH868,you were not like a prostituteכַּזּוֹנָ֖הka.zo.NahH2181.

32You adulteressהַמְּנָאָ֑פֶתha.me.na.'A.fetH5003wifeהָאִשָּׁ֖הha.'i.ShahH802,who takesתִּקַּ֖חti.KachH3947strangersזָרִֽים׃za.RimH2114insteadH8478ofH8478her husbandאִישָׁ֔הּ'i.ShahH376!

33Mengiveיִתְּנוּ־yi.te.nu-H5414giftsנֵ֑דֶהNe.dehH5078to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605prostitutesזֹנ֖וֹתzo.NotH2181, but yougiveנָתַ֤תְּna.TatH5414your giftsנְדָנַ֙יִךְ֙ne.da.Na.yikhH5083to allלְכָל־le.kholH3605your loversמְאַֽהֲבַ֔יִךְme.'a.ha.Va.yikhH157and lavishH7809favorsH7809on them so that they will comeלָב֥וֹאla.Vo'H935to you from everyH5439directionH5439for your obsceneH8457practicesH8457.

34So it is the oppositeהֵ֤פֶךְHe.fekhH2016for you from those womenהַנָּשִׁים֙ha.na.ShimH802in your obsceneH8457practicesH8457,in that you are not approachedוְאַחֲרַ֖יִךְve.'a.cha.Ra.yikhH2181 H310forH2181prostitutionH2181, and in the factthat you payוּבְתִתֵּ֣ךְu.ve.ti.TekhH5414a prostitute’sH868feeH868,and noH3808feeH868is paidנִתַּן־ni.tan-H5414to you; so you are the oppositeלְהֶֽפֶךְ׃le.He.fekhH2016.”

35Thereforeלָכֵ֣ןla.KhenH3651,you prostituteזוֹנָ֔הzo.NahH2181,hearשִׁמְעִ֖יshim.'IH8085the wordדְּבַר־de.var-H1697of the Lordיְהוָֽה׃ פYah.wehH3068.
