22But SaulΣαῦλοςSaulosG4569kept increasingμᾶλλονmallonG1743 G3123inG1743strengthG1743and confoundingσυνέχυννενsunechunnenG4797JewsἸουδαίουςIoudaiousG2453who livedκατοικοῦνταςkatoikountasG2730in DamascusΔαμασκῷ,DamaskōG1154by provingσυμβιβάζωνsumbibazōnG4822that thisοὗτόςhoutosG3778Jesus is theChristχριστός.christosG5547.

23WhenὡςhōsG5613manyἱκαναί,hikanaiG2425daysἡμέραιhēmeraiG2250had elapsedἐπληροῦντοeplērountoG4137,the JewsἸουδαῖοιIoudaioiG2453plottedG4823togetherσυνεβουλεύσαντοsunebouleusantoG4823to doG337awayG337with him,

24buttheir plotἐπιβουλὴepiboulēG1917became knownἐγνώσθηegnōsthēG1097to SaulΣαύλῳSaulōG4569.They were alsoG2532closelyG3906watchingπαρετηροῦντοparetērountoG3906the gatesπύλαςpulasG4439dayἡμέραςhēmerasG2250and nightνυκτός,nuktosG3571soὅπωςhopōsG3704thatG3704they might putG337him to deathG337;

25but his disciplesμαθηταὶmathētaiG3101tookλαβόντεςlabontesG2983him at nightνυκτὸςnuktosG3571and letG2524him downκαθῆκανkathēkanG2524throughδιὰdiaG1223an opening inthe wallτείχουςteichousG5038,loweringχαλάσαντεςchalasantesG2524 G5465him in a largeG4711basketG4711.

26When he cameΠαραγενόμενοςParagenomenosG3854to JerusalemἸερουσαλὴμIerousalēmG2419,he triedἐπείραζενepeirazenG3985repeatedlyto associateκολλᾶσθαιkollasthaiG2853with the disciplesμαθηταῖς·mathētaisG3101; and yetthey wereG5399allπάντεςpantesG3956afraidἐφοβοῦντοephobountoG5399of him, as they did not believeπιστεύοντεςpisteuontesG4100that he was a discipleμαθητής.mathētēsG3101.
