13And he reportedἀπήγγειλενapēngeilenG518to us howπῶςpōsG4459he had seenG3708the angelἄγγελονangelonG32standingσταθένταstathentaG2476in his houseοἴκῳoikōG3624,and sayingG3004, ‘SendἀπόστειλονaposteilonG649some mento JoppaἸόππηνIoppēnG2445and have SimonΣίμωναSimōnaG4613,who is also calledἐπικαλούμενονepikaloumenonG1941PeterΠέτρον,PetronG4074,broughtG3343hereG3343;
16And I rememberedἐμνήσθηνemnēsthēnG3403the wordῥήματοςrhēmatosG4487of the Lordκυρίου,kuriouG2962,howὡςhōsG5613He used to sayἔλεγεν·elegenG3004, ‘JohnἸωάννηςIōannēsG2491baptizedἐβάπτισενebaptisenG907with waterὕδατι,hudatiG5204,but you will be baptizedβαπτισθήσεσθεbaptisthēsestheG907with the Holyἁγίῳ.hagiōG40SpiritπνεύματιpneumatiG4151.’
17ThereforeοὖνounG3767,ifεἰeiG1487GodθεὸςtheosG2316gaveἔδωκενedōkenG1325them the sameἴσηνisēnG2470giftδωρεὰνdōreanG1431as HealsoκαὶkaiG2532gaveto us after believingπιστεύσασινpisteusasinG4100in the LordκύριονkurionG2962JesusἸησοῦνIēsounG2424ChristΧριστόν,ChristonG5547,whoτίςtisG5101was I that I couldδυνατὸςdunatosG1415standG2967inG2967God’sθεόν;¶theonG2316wayG2967?”
18When they heardἈκούσαντεςAkousantesG191thisταῦταtautaG3778, theyquietedG2270downG2270andglorifiedἐδόξασανedoxasanG1392GodθεὸνtheonG2316,sayingλέγοντες·legontesG3004, “WellG686thenἄραaraG686,GodθεὸςtheosG2316has alsoG2532grantedἔδωκεν.¶edōkenG1325to the GentilesἔθνεσινethnesinG1484therepentanceμετάνοιανmetanoianG3341that leadsto lifeζωὴνzōēnG2222.”
