Isaiah 9:7-13
7ThereH369 will be 1noH369 endH7093 to the increaseH4766 of His governmentH4951 or of peaceH7965, On the 2throneH3678 of DavidH1732 and overH5921 his kingdomH4467, To establishH3559 it and to upholdH5582 it with 3justiceH4941 and righteousnessH6666 From thenH6258 on and forevermoreH5703H5769. 4The zealH7068 of the LordH3068 of hostsH6635 will accomplishH6213 thisH2088.
8The LordH136 sendsH7971 a 5messageH1697 against JacobH3290, And it fallsH5307 on IsraelH3478.9And allH3605 the peopleH5971 knowH3045 it, That is, 6EphraimH669 and the inhabitantsH3427 of SamariaH8111, AssertingH559 in prideH1346 and in 7arroganceH1433 of heartH3824:10“The bricksH3843 have fallenH5307 downH5307, But we will 8rebuildH1129 with smoothH1496 stonesH1496; The sycamoresH8256 have been cutH1438 downH1438, But we will replaceH2498 them with cedarsH730.”11Therefore the LordH3068 raisesH7682 againstH5921 them adversariesH6862 from 9RezinH7526 And spursH5526 their enemiesH340 on,12The ArameansH758 on the eastH6924 and the 10PhilistinesH6430 on the westH268; And they 11devourH398 IsraelH3478 with 12gapingH3605 jawsH6310. 13In spite of allH3605 thisH2088, His angerH639 does not turnH7725 awayH7725 And His handH3027 is stillH5750 stretchedH5186 out.
13Yet the peopleH5971 14do not turnH7725 backH7725 to Him who struckH5221 them, NorH3808 do they 15seekH1875 the LordH3068 of hostsH6635.
