Isaiah 8:14-22

14Then He shall becomeH1961 a 1sanctuaryH4720; But to bothH8147 the housesH1004 of IsraelH3478, a 2stoneH68 to strikeH5063 and a rockH6697 to stumbleH4383 over, And a snareH6341 and a 3trapH4170 for the inhabitantsH3427 of JerusalemH3389.15ManyH7227 4will stumbleH3782 over them, Then they will fallH5307 and be brokenH7665; They will even be snaredH3369 and caughtH3920.”

165BindH6887 up the testimonyH8584, 6sealH2856 the 7lawH8451 among 8my disciplesH3928. 17And I will 9waitH2442 for the LordH3068 10who is hidingH5641 His faceH6440 from the houseH1004 of JacobH3290; I will even lookH6960 eagerlyH6960 for Him. 1811BeholdH2009, I and the childrenH3206 whomH834 the LordH3068 has givenH5414 me are for 12signsH226 and wondersH4159 in IsraelH3478 from the LordH3068 of hostsH6635, who 13dwellsH7931 on MountH2022 ZionH6726.

19WhenH3588 they sayH559 to you, “14ConsultH1875 the mediumsH178 and the spiritistsH3049 who whisperH6850 and mutterH1897,” should not a peopleH5971 15consultH1875 their GodH430? Should they 16consult the deadH4191 on behalfH1157 of the livingH2416? 20To the 1718lawH8451 and to the testimonyH8584! IfH518 they do not speakH559 according to thisH2088 wordH1697, it is becauseH834 19they haveH369 noH369 dawnH7837. 21They will passH5674 through 20the land 21hard-pressedH7185 and famishedH7457, and it will turnH6437 out that whenH3588 they are hungryH7456, they will be enragedH7107 and curseH7043 22their kingH4428 and their GodH430 as they faceH6437 upwardH4605. 22Then they will 23lookH5027 to the earthH776, and beholdH2009, distressH6869 and darknessH2825, the gloomH4588 of anguishH6695; and they will be 24drivenH5080 awayH5080 into darknessH653.
