Isaiah 63:1-9
1WhoH4310 is thisH2088 who comesH935 from 1EdomH112, With 2garmentsH899 of 3glowingH2556 colorsH2556 from 4BozrahH1224, ThisH2088 OneH2088 who is majesticH1921 in His apparelH3830, 5MarchingH6808 in the greatnessH7230 of His strengthH3581? “It is I who speakH1696 in righteousnessH6666, 6mightyH7227 to saveH3467.”2WhyH4069 is Your apparelH3830 redH122, And Your garmentsH899 like the one who 7treadsH1869 in the wineH1660 pressH1660?3“8I have troddenH1869 the wineH6333 troughH6333 aloneH905, And from the peoplesH5971 thereH369 was noH369 manH376 with Me. I also 9trodH1869 them in My angerH639 And 10trampledH7429 them in My wrathH2534; And 11their 12lifebloodH5332 is sprinkledH5137 on My garmentsH899, And I 13stainedH1351 allH3605 My raimentH4403.4For the 14dayH3117 of vengeanceH5359 was in My heartH3820, And My yearH8141 of redemptionH1347 has comeH935.5I lookedH5027, and thereH369 was 15noH369 oneH369 to helpH5826, And I was astonishedH8074 and thereH369 was noH369 oneH369 to upholdH5564; So My 16own armH2220 broughtH3467 salvationH3467 to Me, And My wrathH2534 upheldH5564 Me.6I 17trodH947 downH947 the peoplesH5971 in My angerH639 And made them 18drunkH7937 in My wrathH2534, And I 19pouredH3381 out their lifebloodH5332 on the earthH776.”
7I shall makeH2142 mentionH2142 of the 20lovingkindnessesH2617 of the LordH3068, the praisesH8416 of the LordH3068, AccordingH5921 to allH3605 that the LordH3068 has grantedH1580 us, And the greatH7227 21goodnessH2898 toward the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478, WhichH834 He has grantedH1580 them according to His 22compassionH7356 And according to the abundanceH7230 of His lovingkindnessesH2617.8For He saidH559, “SurelyH389, they are 23My peopleH5971, SonsH1121 who will not dealH8266 falselyH8266.” So He becameH1961 their 24SaviorH3467.9In allH3605 their afflictionH6869 2526He was afflictedH6862, And the 27angelH4397 of His presenceH6440 savedH3467 them; In His 28loveH160 and in His mercyH2551 He 29redeemedH1350 them, And He 30liftedH5190 them and carriedH5375 them allH3605 the daysH3117 of oldH5769.
