15soἵναinaG2443that whoeverπᾶςpasG3956believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100willin Him haveἔχῃechēG2192eternalαἰώνιον.aiōnionG166lifeζωὴνzōēnG2222.

17For GodθεὸςtheosG2316did not sendἀπέστειλενapesteilenG649the SonυἱὸνhuionG5207into the worldκόσμονkosmonG2889to judgeκρίνῃkrinēG2919the worldκόσμον,kosmonG2889,but that the worldκόσμοςkosmosG2889might be savedσωθῇsōthēaG4982throughδι᾽di᾽G1223Him.

18He who believesπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100in Him is not judgedκρίνεται·krinetaiG2919;he who does not believeπιστεύωνpisteuōnG4100has been judgedκέκριταιkekritaiG2919alreadyἤδηēdēG2235,becauseὅτιhotiG3754he has not believedπεπίστευκενpepisteukenG4100in the nameὄνομαonomaG3686of theonlyμονογενοῦςmonogenousG3439begottenG3439SonυἱοῦhuiouG5207of Godθεοῦ.theouG2316.

19ThisαὕτηhautēG3778is the judgmentκρίσιςkrisisG2920, thatthe LightφῶςphōsG5457has comeἐλήλυθενelēluthenG2064into the worldκόσμον,kosmonG2889,and menἄνθρωποιanthrōpoiG444lovedἠγάπησανēgapēsanG25the darknessσκότοςskotosG4655ratherμᾶλλονmallonG3123thanἢēG2228the Lightφῶς·phōsG5457, fortheir deedsἔργα.ergaG2041were evilπονηρὰponēraG4190.

20For everyoneπᾶςpasG3956who doesπράσσωνprassōnG4238evilφαῦλαphaulaG5337hatesμισεῖmiseiG3404the LightφῶςphōsG5457,and does not comeἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064to the LightφῶςphōsG5457for fearἵνα μὴina mēG2443 G3361that his deedsἔργαergaG2041will be exposedἐλεγχθῇelegchthēaG1651.

21But he whopracticesποιῶνpoiōnG4160the truthἀλήθειανalētheianG225comesἔρχεταιerchetaiG2064to the LightφῶςphōsG5457,soἵναinaG2443that his deedsἔργαergaG2041may be manifestedφανερωθῇphanerōthēaG5319as having beenἐστινestinG1510wroughtεἰργασμένα.¶eirgasmenaG2038in GodθεῷtheōG2316.”
