Joshua 24:18-24
And Jehovah droveH1644 out from before us all the peoplesH5971, and the AmoritesH567 the inhabitantsH3427 of the landH776: so therefore we will serveH5647 Jehovah, for he is our 1GodH430.
And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 to the peopleH5971, Ye cannot serveH5647 Jehovah, for he is a holyH6918 2GodH430; he is a jealousH7072 3GodH430; he will not forgiveH5375 your transgressionsH6588 nor your sinsH2403.
If ye forsakeH5800 Jehovah, and serveH5647 strange 4godsH430, then he will turnH7725 and do you hurt, and consume you, after that he hath done you goodH3190.
And the peopleH5971 saidH559 to JoshuaH3091, No; but we will serveH5647 Jehovah.
And JoshuaH3091 saidH559 unto the peopleH5971, Ye are witnessesH5707 against yourselves that ye have chosenH977 you Jehovah, to serveH5647 him. And they saidH559, [We are] witnessesH5707.
NowH6258 thereforeH6258 put awayH5493 the strange 5godsH430 that are among you, and inclineH5186 your heartH3824 unto Jehovah the 6GodH430 of IsraelH3478.
And the peopleH5971 saidH559 unto JoshuaH3091, Jehovah our 7GodH430 will we serveH5647, and to his voiceH6963 will we hearken.
