Joshua 11:1-9
And it came to pass when JabinH2985 kingH4428 of HazorH2674 heardH8085 [this], that he sentH7971 to JobabH3103 kingH4428 of MadonH4068, and to the kingH4428 of ShimronH8110, and to the kingH4428 of Achshaph,
and to the kingsH4428 that were northward in the mountainsH2022, and in the plainH6160 southH5045 of Chinneroth, and in the lowland, and on the upland of DorH1756 on the westH3220,
to the CanaaniteH3669 on the eastH4217 and on the westH3220, and to the AmoriteH567, and the HittiteH2850, and the PerizziteH6522, and the JebusiteH2983 in the mountainsH2022, and to the HiviteH2340 at the foot of HermonH2768 in the landH776 of MizpahH4709.
And they wentH3318 out, they and all their armiesH4264 with them, a peopleH5971 numerousH7230 as the sandH2344 that is on the seashore in multitudeH7230, with horsesH5483 and chariotsH7393 veryH3966 manyH7227.
And all these kingsH4428 met togetherH3162, and cameH935 and encampedH2583 togetherH3162 at the watersH4325 of MeromH4792, to fightH3898 against IsraelH3478.
And Jehovah saidH559 to JoshuaH3091, Be not afraidH3372 because of them; for to-morrow about this timeH6256 will I giveH5414 them all up slainH2491 before IsraelH3478: their horsesH5483 shalt thou hough, and thou shalt burnH8313 their chariotsH4818 with fireH784.
And JoshuaH3091, and all the peopleH5971 of warH4421 with him, cameH935 upon them by the watersH4325 of MeromH4792 suddenlyH6597, and fellH5307 upon them.
And Jehovah delivered them into the handH3027 of IsraelH3478, and they smote them, and chased them unto greatH7227 Zidon, and to Misrephoth-maimH4956, and to the valleyH1237 of MizpahH4708 eastward, and smote them until none were leftH7604 remainingH7604 to them.
And JoshuaH3091 did to them as Jehovah had saidH559 to him: he houghed their horsesH5483, and burnedH8313 their chariotsH4818 with fireH784.
