Job 21:1-16
And JobH347 answered and saidH559,
HearH8085 attentively my speechH4405, and let this replace your consolationsH8575.
Suffer me and I will speakH1696; and after I have spokenH1696, mockH3932 on!
As for me, is my complaintH7879 to a manH120? or wherefore should not my spiritH7307 be impatient?
Mark me, and be astonished, and lay the handH3027 upon the mouthH6310.
Even when I think [thereon], I am affrighted, and trembling taketh holdH270 of my fleshH1320.
Wherefore do the wickedH7563 liveH2421, grow old, yea, become mighty in power?
Their seedH2233 is establishedH3559 with them in their sight, and their offspringH2233 before their eyesH5869.
Their housesH1004 are safe from fearH6343, neither is the rodH7626 of 1GodH433 upon them.
Their bullH7794 gendereth, and faileth not; their cowH6510 calveth, and casteth not her calf.
They sendH7971 forthH7971 their little ones like a flockH6629, and their childrenH3206 dance.
They shout to the tambour and harpH3658, and rejoiceH8055 at the soundH6963 of the pipe.
They spend their daysH3117 in prosperity, and in a momentH7281 go down to SheolH7585.
And they sayH559 unto 2GodH410, DepartH5493 from us, for we desireH2654 not the knowledgeH1847 of thy waysH1870!
What is the AlmightyH7706 that we should serveH5647 him? and what are we profited if we pray unto him?
Behold, their prosperityH2898 is not in their handH3027. The counselH6098 of the wickedH7563 be farH7368 from me!
