Job 13:1-19
Lo, mine eyeH5869 hath seenH7200 all [this], mine earH241 hath heardH8085 and understoodH995 it.
What ye knowH3045, I knowH3045 alsoH1571: I am not inferior to you.
But I will speakH1696 to the AlmightyH7706, and will find pleasureH2654 in reasoning with 1GodH410;
For ye indeed are forgers of liesH8267, ye are all physiciansH7495 of no value.
Oh that ye would beH1961 altogether silentH2790! and it would beH1961 your wisdomH2451.
HearH8085 now my defence, and hearken to the pleadings of my lipsH8193.
Will ye speakH1696 unrighteously for 2GodH410? and for him speakH1696 deceitH7423?
Will ye accept his person? will ye contendH7378 for 3GodH410?
Will it be well if he should searchH2713 you out? or as one mocketh at a man, will ye mock at him?
He will certainly reproveH3198 you, if ye do secretly accept persons.
Shall not his excellency terrifyH1204 you? and his dreadH6343 fallH5307 upon you?
Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashesH665, your bulwarks are bulwarks of mire.
Hold your peace from me, and I will speakH1696, and let come on me what [will]!
Wherefore should I takeH5375 my fleshH1320 in my teethH8127, and putH7760 my lifeH5315 in my handH3709?
Behold, if he slay me, yet would I trust in him; but I will defend mine own waysH1870 before him.
This alsoH1571 shall be my salvationH3444, that a profane man shall not comeH935 before his faceH6440.
HearH8085 attentively my speechH4405 and my declaration with your earsH241.
Behold now, I have ordered the cause; I knowH3045 that I shall be justifiedH6663.
Who is he that contendeth with me? For if I were silentH2790 nowH6258, I should expireH1478.
