Job 13:1-19
1Lo, mine eyeH5869 hath seenH7200 all this, Mine earH241 hath heardH8085 and understoodH995 it.2What ye knowH3045, the same do I knowH3045 alsoH1571: I am not inferior unto you.3Surely I would speakH1696 to the AlmightyH7706, And I desireH2654 to reason with GodH410.4But ye are forgers of liesH8267; Ye are all physiciansH7495 of no value.5Oh that ye would altogether hold your peace! And it would beH1961 your wisdomH2451.6HearH8085 now my reasoning, And hearken to the pleadings of my lipsH8193.7Will ye speakH1696 unrighteously for GodH410, And talk deceitfully for him?8Will ye show partiality to him? Will ye contendH7378 for GodH410?9Is it goodH2896 that he should searchH2713 you out? Or as one deceiveth a man, will ye deceive him?10He will surely reproveH3198 you, If ye do secretly show partiality.11Shall not his majestyH7613 make you afraid, And his dreadH6343 fallH5307 upon you?12Your memorable sayings are proverbs of ashesH665, Your defences are defences of clay.13Hold your peace, let me alone, that I may speakH1696; And let come on me what will.14Wherefore should I takeH5375 my fleshH1320 in my teethH8127, And putH7760 my lifeH5315 in my handH3709?15Behold, he will slay me; I have no hopeH3176: NeverthelessH389 I will maintain my waysH1870 before him.16This alsoH1571 shall be my salvationH3444, That a godlessH2611 man shall not comeH935 before him.17HearH8085 diligently my speechH4405, And let my declaration be in your earsH241.18Behold now, I have set my cause in order; I knowH3045 that I am righteousH6663.19Who is he that will contendH7378 with me? For then would I hold my peace and give up the ghost.
