Darby Bible
2 Timothy 4:1-8
1I testifyG1263 before 1GodG2316 and ChristG5547 JesusG2424, who is about to judgeG2919 livingG2198 and deadG3498, and by his appearingG2015 and his kingdomG932,
2proclaimG2784 the wordG3056; be urgent in season [and] out of season, convictG1651, rebukeG2008, encourageG3870, with all longsuffering and doctrine.
3For the timeG2540 shall beG1510 whenG3753 they will not bearG430 soundG5198 teachingG1319; but accordingG2596 to their ownG2398 lustsG1939 will heap up to themselves teachersG1320, having an itching ear;
4and they will turnG654 awayG654 their ear from the truthG225, and will have turnedG1624 asideG1624 to fables.
5But thou, be soberG3525 in all thingsG3956, bear evils, do [the] workG2041 of an evangelistG2099, fill up the full measure of thy ministryG1248.
6For I am alreadyG2235 being pouredG4689 out, and the timeG2540 of my release is comeG2186.
7I have combated the goodG2570 combat, I have finishedG5055 the race, I have keptG5083 the faithG4102.
8Henceforth the crownG4735 of righteousnessG1343 is laid up for me, which the LordG2962, the righteousG1342 JudgeG2923, will renderG591 to me in that dayG2250; but not onlyG3440 to me, but alsoG2532 to all who loveG25 his appearingG2015.
