Darby Bible
Timothy 1:6-12
For which causeG156 I put thee in mind to rekindle the giftG5486 of 1GodG2316 which isG1510 in thee by the putting on of my handsG5495.
For 2GodG2316 has not givenG1325 us a spiritG4151 of cowardice, but of powerG1411, and of loveG26, and of wise discretion.
Be not thereforeG3767 ashamedG1870 of the testimonyG3142 of our LordG2962, nor of me his prisonerG1198; but suffer evil along with the glad tidings, accordingG2596 to the powerG1411 of 3GodG2316;
who has savedG4982 us, and has calledG2564 us with a holyG40 callingG2821, not accordingG2596 to our worksG2041, but accordingG2596 to [his] ownG2398 purposeG4286 and graceG5485, which [was] givenG1325 to us in ChristG5547 JesusG2424 before [the] ages of timeG5550,
but has been madeG5319 manifestG5319 nowG1161 by the appearingG2015 of our Saviour JesusG2424 ChristG5547, who has annulled deathG2288, and brought to lightG5461 lifeG2222 and incorruptibility by the glad tidings;
to which I have been appointedG5087 a herald and apostleG652 and teacherG1320 of [the] nations.
For which causeG156 alsoG2532 I sufferG3958 these thingsG3778; but I amG1510 not ashamedG1870; for I know whom I have believedG4100, and amG1510 persuadedG3982 that he isG1510 ableG1415 to keepG5442 for that dayG2250 the deposit I have entrustedG4100 to him.
