Darby Bible
2 Samuel 22:28-37
28And the afflictedH6041 peopleH5971 thou dost saveH3467; And thine eyesH5869 are upon the haughtyH7311, [whom] thou bringest down.
29For thou art my lampH5216, Jehovah; And Jehovah enlighteneth my darknessH2822.
30For by thee I have runH7323 through a troopH1416; By my 1GodH430 have I leaped over a wallH7791.
31As for 2GodH410, his wayH1870 is perfectH8549; The wordH565 of Jehovah is tried: He is a shieldH4043 to all that trust in him.
32For who is 3GodH430, save Jehovah? And who is a rockH6697, save our 4GodH430?
335GodH410 is my strong fortress, And he maketh my wayH1870 perfectly smooth.
34He maketh my feetH7272 like hinds' [feetH7272], And setteth me upon my highH1116 placesH1116.
35He teacheth my handsH3027 to warH4421, And mine armsH2220 bend a bowH7198 of brass.
36And thou didst giveH5414 me the shieldH4043 of thy salvationH3468, And thy condescending gentleness hath madeH5414 me great.
37Thou enlargedst my stepsH6806 under me; And mine ankles did not slipH4571.
