6But she that lives in habits of self-indulgence is dead [while] livingG2198.

10borne witnessG3140 to in goodG18 worksG2041, if she have brought up children, if she have exercised hospitality, if she have washedG3538 saints' feetG4228, if she have imparted relief to the distressed, if she have diligently followed every goodG18 workG2041.

11But younger widowsG5503 decline; for whenG3752 they grow wanton against ChristG5547, they desireG2309 to marryG1060,

12being guilty, because they have cast off their firstG4413 faithG4102.

13And, at the sameG260 timeG260, they learnG3129 alsoG2532 [to be] idleG692, going about to people's housesG3614; and not onlyG3440 idleG692, but alsoG2532 gossipers and meddlers, speakingG2980 things not becoming.

14I will thereforeG3767 that the younger marryG1060, bear children, rule the house, giveG1325 no occasionG874 to the adversary in respect of reproach.

16If any believing man or woman have widowsG5503, let them impart relief to them, and let not the assemblyG1577 be charged, that it may impart relief to those [that are] widowsG5503 indeed.
