Darby Bible
Peter 4:1-9
ChristG5547, then, having sufferedG3958 for us in [the] fleshG4561, do ye alsoG2532 arm yourselves with the sameG846 mind; for he that has sufferedG3958 in [the] fleshG4561 has done with sinG266,
noG3371 longerG3371 to live the rest of [his] timeG5550 in [the] fleshG4561 to men's lustsG1939, but to 1God's will.
For the timeG5550 past [is] sufficientG713 [for us] to have wrought the will of the GentilesG1484, walkingG4198 in lasciviousness, lustsG1939, wine-drinking, revels, drinkings, and unhallowed idolatriesG1495.
Wherein they think it strangeG3579 that ye run not with [them] to the sameG846 sink of corruption, speaking injuriously [of you];
who shall renderG591 accountG3056 to him who is readyG2093 to judgeG2919 [the] livingG2198 and [the] deadG3498.
For to this [end] were the glad tidings preached to [the] deadG3498 alsoG2532, that they might be judgedG2919, as regards menG444, after [the] fleshG4561, but liveG2198, as regards 2GodG2316, after [the] SpiritG4151.
But the endG5056 of all thingsG3956 is drawn nigh: be soberG3525 thereforeG3767, and be watchful unto prayersG4335;
but before all thingsG3956 having fervent loveG26 among yourselves, because loveG26 coversG2572 a multitudeG4128 of sinsG266;
