And AdonijahH138 the sonH1121 of HaggithH2294 cameH935 to Bathsheba the motherH517 of SolomonH8010. And she saidH559, Comest thou peaceably? And he saidH559, Peaceably.
And he saidH559, I have something to sayH559 to thee. And she saidH559, SpeakH1696.
And he saidH559, Thou knowest that the kingdom wasH1961 mine, and all IsraelH3478 had setH7760 their facesH6440 on me that I should reignH4427; but the kingdom is turnedH5437 about and is becomeH1961 my brother's, for it wasH1961 his from Jehovah.
And nowH6258 I askH7592 oneH259 petitionH7596 of thee; refuse me not. And she saidH559 to him, SpeakH1696.
And he saidH559, Speak, I pray thee, to SolomonH8010 the kingH4428 — for he will not refuse thee — that he giveH5414 me AbishagH49 the ShunammiteH7767 as wifeH802.
And Bathsheba saidH559, Well, I will speakH1696 for thee to the kingH4428.
