Darby Bible
Kings 15:2-10
He reignedH4427 threeH7969 yearsH8141 in JerusalemH3389; and his mother's nameH8034 was Maachah, a daughterH1323 of AbishalomH53.
And he walked in all the sinsH2403 of his fatherH1, which he had done before him; and his heartH3824 wasH1961 not perfectH8003 with Jehovah his 1GodH430, as the heartH3824 of DavidH1732 his fatherH1.
But for David's sakeH4616 Jehovah his 2GodH430 gaveH5414 him a lampH5216 in JerusalemH3389, settingH5414 up his sonH1121 after him, and establishing JerusalemH3389;
because DavidH1732 did that which was rightH3477 in the sight of Jehovah, and turnedH5493 not asideH5493 from anything that he commandedH6680 him all the daysH3117 of his life, except in the matterH1697 of Urijah the HittiteH2850.
And there had beenH1961 warH4421 between RehoboamH7346 and JeroboamH3379 all the daysH3117 of his life.
And the restH3499 of the acts of AbijamH38, and all that he did, are they not writtenH3789 in the bookH5612 of the chronicles of the kingsH4428 of JudahH3063? And there wasH1961 warH4421 between AbijamH38 and JeroboamH3379.
And AbijamH38 slept with his fathersH1; and they buriedH6912 him in the cityH5892 of DavidH1732. And AsaH609 his sonH1121 reignedH4427 in his stead.
And in the twentieth yearH8141 of JeroboamH3379 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478, AsaH609 began to reignH4427 over JudahH3063;
and he reignedH4427 forty-one yearsH8141 in JerusalemH3389; and his mother's nameH8034 was Maachah, daughterH1323 of AbishalomH53.
