Jeremiah 46:14-28
14“Announce itH5046 in EgyptH4714, and proclaimH8085 it in MigdolH4024; proclaimH8085 it in MemphisH52971 and TahpanhesH8471: ‘Take your positionsH3320 and prepareH3559 yourself, forH3588 the swordH2719 devoursH398 those around youH5439.’15WhyH4069 have your warriorsH47 been laid lowH5502? They cannotH3808 standH5975, forH3588 the LORDH3068 has thrust them downH1920.16They continueH7235 to stumbleH3782; indeedH1571, they have fallenH5307 overH413 one anotherH7453. They sayH559, ‘Get upH6965! Let us returnH7725 toH413 our peopleH5971 and toH413 the landH776 of our birthH4138, away fromH6440 the swordH2719 of the oppressorH3238.’
25The LORDH3068 of HostsH6635, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478, saysH559: “BeholdH2005, I am about to punishH6485H413 AmonH528 god of ThebesH4996H5921,3 along with PharaohH6547, EgyptH4714 withH5921 her godsH430H5921 and kingsH4428H5921, and those who trustH982 in PharaohH6547. 26I will deliver themH5414 into the handsH3027 of those who seekH1245 their livesH5315H3027—of NebuchadnezzarH5019 kingH4428 of BabylonH894H3027 and his officersH5650. But afterH310 thisH3651, Egypt will be inhabitedH7931 as in daysH3117 of oldH6924, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.
