Jeremiah 32:2-5
2At that timeH227 the armyH2428 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894 was besiegingH6696H5921 JerusalemH3389, and JeremiahH3414 the prophetH5030 wasH1961 imprisonedH3607 in the courtyardH2691 of the guardH4307, which wasH834 in the palaceH1004 of the kingH4428 of JudahH3063.
3ForH834 ZedekiahH6667 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 had imprisoned himH3607, sayingH559: “WhyH4069 are youH859 prophesyingH5012 like thisH3541? You claim thatH559 the LORDH3068 saysH559, ‘BeholdH2005, I am about to deliverH5414 thisH2063 cityH5892 into the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and he will capture itH3920. 4ZedekiahH6667 kingH4428 of JudahH3063 will notH3808 escapeH4422 from the handsH3027 of the ChaldeansH3778,1 butH3588 he will surely be deliveredH5414 into the handH3027 of the kingH4428 of BabylonH894, and will speak with himH1696 faceH6310 toH5973 faceH6310 and see himH7200 eyeH5869 to eyeH5869. 5He will takeH1980 ZedekiahH6667 to BabylonH894, whereH8033 he will stayH1961 untilH5704 I attend toH6485 himH853, declaresH5002 the LORDH3068. IfH3588 you fightH3898 againstH854 the ChaldeansH3778, you will notH3808 succeedH6743.’”
