Jeremiah 23:9-15

9As for the prophetsH5030:

My heartH3820 is brokenH7665 within meH7130,and allH3605 my bonesH6106 trembleH7363.I have becomeH1961 like a drunkardH376 H7910,like a manH1397 overcomeH5674 by wineH3196,because ofH6440 the LORDH3068,because ofH6440 His holyH6944 wordsH1697.10ForH3588 the landH776 H3588 is full ofH4390 adulterersH5003—because ofH6440 the curseH423, the landH776 mournsH56and the pasturesH4999 of the wildernessH4057 have dried upH3001—their courseH4794 isH1961 evilH7451and their powerH1369 is misusedH3808 H3651.

11“ForH3588 bothH1571 prophetH5030 andH1571 priestH3548 are ungodlyH2610;evenH1571 in My houseH1004 I have foundH4672 their wickednessH7451,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.12“ThereforeH3651 their pathH1870 will becomeH1961 slickH2519;they will be driven awayH1760 into the darknessH653 and fallH5307 into it.ForH3588 I will bringH935 disasterH7451 upon themH5921in the yearH8141 of their punishmentH6486,”declaresH5002 the LORDH3068.13“Among the prophetsH5030 of SamariaH8111I sawH7200 an offensive thingH8604:They prophesiedH5012 by BaalH1168and led My peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 astrayH8582 .14And among the prophetsH5030 of JerusalemH3389I have seenH7200 a horrible thingH8186:They commit adulteryH5003and walkH1980 in liesH8267.They strengthenH2388 the handsH3027 of evildoersH7489,so that noH1115 oneH376 turns his backH7725 on wickednessH7451.They areH1961 allH3605 like SodomH5467 to Me;the people of JerusalemH3427 are like GomorrahH6017.”

15ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635 saysH559 concerningH5921 the prophetsH5030 H2005:

“I will feedH398 themH853 wormwoodH3939and give them poisonedH7219 waterH4325 to drinkH8248,forH3588 from the prophetsH5030 of JerusalemH3389ungodlinessH2613 H3605 has spreadH3318 throughout the landH776.”
