10“The bricksH3843 have fallenH5307, but we will rebuildH1129 with finished stoneH1496; the sycamoresH8256 have been felledH1438, but we will replace themH2498 with cedarsH730.”
11The LORDH3068 has raised upH7682 the foesH6862 of RezinH7526 against himH5921and joinedH5526 his enemies togetherH341.12AramH7581 from the eastH6924 and PhilistiaH6430 from the westH268have devouredH398 IsraelH3478 with openH3605 mouthsH6310.
Despite allH3605 thisH2063, His angerH639 is notH3808 turned awayH7725;His handH3027 is stillH5750 upraisedH5186.
13But the peopleH5971 did notH3808 returnH7725 toH5704 Him who struck themH5221;they did notH3808 seekH1875 the LORDH3068 of HostsH6635.14So the LORDH3068 will cut offH3772 Israel’sH3478 headH7218 and tailH2180,both palm branchH3712 and reedH100 in a singleH259 dayH3117.15The headH7218 is the elderH2205 and honorableH5375 manH1931,and the tailH2180 is the prophetH5030 who teachesH3384 liesH8267.
