Ezekiel 36:1-15
1“And youH859, sonH1121 of manH120, prophesyH5012 toH413 the mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478 and sayH559: O mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LORDH3068. 2This is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559: BecauseH3282 the enemyH341 has saidH559 of youH5921, ‘AhaH1889! The ancientH5769 heightsH1116 have becomeH1961 our possessionH4181,’ 3thereforeH3651 prophesyH5012 and declareH559 that this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559: BecauseH3282 they have made you desolateH8074 and have trampledH7602 youH853 on every sideH5439, so that you becameH1961 a possessionH4181 of the restH7611 of the nationsH1471 and were taken upH5927 in slanderH1681 byH5921 the lipsH8193 of their talkersH3956H5971, 4thereforeH3651, O mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, hearH8085 the wordH1697 of the LordH136 GODH3069.
This is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559 to the mountainsH2022 and hillsH1389, to the ravinesH650 and valleysH1516, to the desolateH8076 ruinsH2723 and abandonedH5800 citiesH5892, whichH834 have becomeH1961 a spoilH957 and a mockeryH3933 to the restH7611 of the nationsH1471 around youH5439. 5ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559: SurelyH518H3808 in My burningH784 zealH7068 I have spokenH1696 againstH5921 the restH7611 of the nationsH1471, and againstH5921 allH3605 EdomH123, whoH834 tookH5414 My landH776 as their own possessionH4181 with wholeheartedH3605H3824 joyH8057 and utter contemptH7589H5315, so thatH4616 its pasturelandH4054 became plunderH957.
6ThereforeH3651, prophesyH5012 concerningH5921 the landH127 of IsraelH3478 and tellH559 the mountainsH2022 and hillsH1389, the ravinesH650 and valleysH1516, that this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559: BeholdH2005, I have spokenH1696 in My burningH2534 zealH7068 becauseH3282 you have enduredH5375 the reproachH3639 of the nationsH1471.
7ThereforeH3651 this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559: IH589 have swornH5375 with an uplifted handH3027 that surelyH518H3808 the nationsH1471 aroundH5439 youH1992 will endureH5375 reproach of their ownH3639. 8But youH859, O mountainsH2022 of IsraelH3478, will produceH5414 branchesH6057 and bearH5375 fruitH6529 for My peopleH5971 IsraelH3478, forH3588 they will soonH7126 come homeH935.
9ForH3588 beholdH2005, I am on your sideH413; I will turnH6437 toward youH413, and you will be tilledH5647 and sownH2232. 10I will multiplyH7235 the peopleH120 upon youH5921—the houseH1004 of IsraelH3478 in its entiretyH3605. The citiesH5892 will be inhabitedH3427 and the ruinsH2723 rebuiltH1129. 11I will fillH7235H5921 you with peopleH120 and animalsH929, and they will multiplyH7235 and be fruitfulH6509. I will make you as inhabitedH3427 as you once wereH6927, and I will make you prosperH3190 more than beforeH7221. Then you will knowH3045 thatH3588 IH589 am the LORDH3068.
Yes, I will causeH853 My peopleH5971 IsraelH3478 to walkH1980 upon youH5921; they will possess youH3423, and you will beH1961 their inheritanceH5159, and you will noH3808 longerH3254H5750 deprive themH7921 of their children.
13For this is whatH3541 the LordH136 GODH3069 saysH559: BecauseH3282 people sayH559 to you, ‘YouH859 devourH398 menH120 and deprive your nationH1471H1961 of its childrenH7921,’ 14thereforeH3651 you will noH3808 longerH5750 devourH398 menH120 or depriveH3782H5750 your nation of its childrenH1471H3808, declaresH5002 the LordH136 GODH3069. 15I will noH3808 longer allowH5750 the tauntsH3639 of the nationsH1471 to be heardH8085 against youH413, and you will noH3808 longerH5750 endureH5375 the reproachH2781 of the peoplesH5971 or cause your nationH1471 to stumbleH3782, declaresH5002 the LordH136 GODH3069.”
