Ezekiel 18:20-24
20The soulH5315 who sinsH2398 is the one whoH1931 will dieH4191. A sonH1121 will notH3808 bearH5375 the iniquityH5771 of his fatherH1, and a fatherH1 will notH3808 bearH5375 the iniquityH5771 of his sonH1121. The righteousnessH6666 of the righteous manH6662 will fallH1961 upon himH5921, and the wickednessH7564 of the wicked manH7563 will fallH1961 upon himH5921.
21But ifH3588 the wicked manH7563 turnsH7725 from allH3605 the sinsH2403 he has committedH6213, keepsH8104 allH3605 My statutesH2708, and doesH6213 what is justH4941 and rightH6666, he will surely liveH2421; he will notH3808 dieH4191. 22NoneH3605H3808 of the transgressionsH6588 he has committedH6213 will be heldH2142 against him. Because of the righteousnessH6666 he has practicedH6213, he will liveH2421. 23Do I take any pleasure inH2654 the deathH4194 of the wickedH7563? declaresH5002 the LordH136 GODH3069. Wouldn’t I preferH3808 that he turnH7725 from his waysH1870 and liveH2421?
24But if a righteous manH6662 turnsH7725 from his righteousnessH6666 and practicesH6213 iniquityH5766, committingH6213 the same abominationsH8441 asH834 the wickedH7563H6213, will he liveH2421H3605? NoneH3808 of the righteous actsH6666 he didH6213 will be rememberedH2142. Because of the unfaithfulnessH4603 and sinH2403 he has committedH2398, he will dieH4191.
