21SubmitG5293 to one anotherG240 out ofG1722 reverenceG5401 for ChristG5547.1

WivesG1135, submit toG3588 yourG2398 husbandsG435 asG5613 to theG3588 LordG2962. 23ForG3754 the husbandG435 isG1510 the headG2776 of theG3588 wifeG1135 asG5613 ChristG5547 is the headG2776 of theG3588 churchG1577, His bodyG4983, of which HeG846 is the SaviorG4990. 24NowG235 asG5613 theG3588 churchG1577 submitsG5293 to ChristG5547, soG3779 alsoG2532 wivesG1135 should submit to theirG3588 husbandsG435 inG1722 everythingG3956.

HusbandsG435, loveG25 your wivesG1135, justG2532 asG2531 ChristG5547 lovedG25 theG3588 churchG1577 andG2532 gave Himself upG3860G1438 forG5228 herG846 26toG2443 sanctifyG37 herG846, cleansingG2511 her by theG3588 washingG3067 with waterG5204 throughG1722 the wordG4487, 27and toG2443 presentG3936 herG846 to HimselfG1438 as a gloriousG1741 churchG1577, withoutG3361G2192 stainG4696 orG2228 wrinkleG4512 orG2228 anyG5100 suchG5108 blemish, butG235 holyG40 andG2532 blamelessG299.

28In the same wayG3779G2532, husbandsG435 oughtG3784 to loveG25 theirG1438 wivesG1135 asG5613 their ownG1438 bodiesG4983. HeG3588 who lovesG25 hisG1438 wifeG1135 lovesG25 himselfG1438. 29IndeedG1063, no oneG3762 everG4218 hatedG3404 hisG1438 own bodyG4561, butG235 he nourishesG1625 andG2532 cherishesG2282 itG846, just asG2531 ChristG5547 does theG3588 churchG1577. 30ForG3754 we areG1510 membersG3196 ofG3588 HisG846 bodyG4983.2

31“For this reasonG473G3778 a manG444 will leaveG2641 hisG3588 fatherG3962 andG2532 motherG3384 andG2532 be unitedG4347 toG4314 hisG846 wifeG1135, andG2532 theG3588 twoG1417 will becomeG1510G1519 oneG1520 fleshG4561.”3 32ThisG3778 mysteryG3466 isG1510 profoundG3173, butG1161 IG1473 am speakingG3004 aboutG1519 ChristG5547 andG2532 theG3588 churchG1577.
