17He withholdsהֵשִׁ֣יבhe.ShivH7725his handיָד֗וֹya.DoH3027from harming the poorמֵעָנִ֞יme.'a.NiH6041and takesלָקָ֔חla.KachH3947noלֹ֣אlo'H3808interestנֶ֤שֶׁךְNe.shekhH5392or usuryוְתַרְבִּית֙ve.tar.BitH8636.Heה֗וּאHu'H1931keepsעָשָׂ֔ה'a.SahH6213My ordinancesמִשְׁפָּטַ֣יmish.pa.TaiH4941and followsהָלָ֑ךְha.LakhH1980My statutesבְּחֻקּוֹתַ֖יbe.chu.ko.TaiH2708.Such a man will notלֹ֥אlo'H3808dieיָמ֛וּתya.MutH4191for his father’sאָבִ֖יו'a.VivH1iniquityבַּעֲוֹ֥ןba.'a.VonH5771.He will surely liveH2421.
18As for his fatherאָבִ֞יו'a.VivH1,he will dieמֵ֖תmetH4191for his own iniquityבַּעֲוֹנֽוֹ׃ba.'a.vo.NoH5771,becauseכִּֽי־ki-H3588he practicedעָ֣שַׁק'A.shakH6231extortionעֹ֗שֶׁק'O.shekH6233,robbedגָּזַל֙ גֵּ֣זֶלga.Zal Ge.zelH1497H1498his brotherאָ֔ח'AchH251,and didעָשָׂ֖ה'a.SahH6213whatוַאֲשֶׁ֥רva.'a.SherH834was wrongלֹא־ ט֛וֹבlo'- TovH3808H2896amongבְּת֣וֹךְbe.TokhH8432his peopleעַמָּ֑יו וְהִנֵּה־'a.Mav ve.hi.neh-H5971H2009.
