2But ifוְאִם־ve.'im-H518youאַתָּ֖ה'a.TahH859refuseמָאֵ֥ןma.'EnH3986to let them goלְשַׁלֵּ֑חַle.sha.Le.achH7971הִנֵּ֣הhi.NehH2009,Iאָנֹכִ֗י'a.no.KhiH595will plagueנֹגֵ֛ףno.GefH5062H853your whole countryכָּל־ גְּבוּלְךָ֖kol- ge.vu.le.KhaH3605 H1366with frogsH6854.

3The Nileהַיְאֹר֮hay.'OrH2975will teemוְשָׁרַ֣ץve.sha.RatzH8317with frogsH6854,and they will comeH5927into your palaceוּבָ֣אוּ בְּבֵיתֶ֔ךָu.Va.'u be.vei.Te.khaH935 H1004and up to your bedroomוּבַחֲדַ֥ר מִשְׁכָּבְךָ֖u.va.cha.Dar mish.ka.ve.KhaH2315 H4904and ontoH5921your bedמִטָּתֶ֑ךָmi.ta.Te.khaH4296,into the housesוּבְבֵ֤יתu.ve.VeitH1004of your officialsעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙'a.va.Dei.khaH5650and your peopleוּבְעַמֶּ֔ךָu.ve.'a.Me.khaH5971,and into your ovensוּבְתַנּוּרֶ֖יךָu.ve.ta.nu.Rei.khaH8574and kneading bowlsוּבְמִשְׁאֲרוֹתֶֽיךָ׃u.ve.mish.'a.ro.Tei.khaH4863.

4The frogsH6854will come upיַעֲל֖וּya.'a.LuH5927on youand your peopleH5971and allוּבְכָל־u.ve.Khol-H3605your officialsעֲבָדֶ֑יךָ'a.va.Dei.khaH5650.’”

5And the LORDיְהוָה֮Yah.wehH3068saidH559toאֶל־'el-H413MosesH4872, “Tellאֶֽל־'el-H559 H413Aaronאַהֲרֹ֗ן'a.ha.RonH175, ‘Stretch outנְטֵ֤הne.TehH5186אֶת־'et-H853your handיָדְךָ֙ya.de.KhaH3027with your staffבְּמַטֶּ֔ךָbe.ma.Te.khaH4294overH5921the riversהַ֨נְּהָרֹ֔תha.ne.ha.RotH5104H5921and canalsH2975 H5921and pondsהָאֲגַמִּ֑יםha.'a.ga.MimH98,and cause the frogsH6854 H5921to come up ontoוְהַ֥עַלve.Ha.'alH5927אֶת־'et-H853the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.’”

6So Aaronאַהֲרֹן֙'a.ha.RonH175אֶת־'et-H853stretched outוַיֵּ֤טvai.YetH5186his handיָד֔וֹya.DoH3027overעַ֖ל'alH5921the watersמֵימֵ֣יmei.MeiH4325of Egyptמִצְרָ֑יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714,and the frogsהַצְּפַרְדֵּ֔עַha.tze.far.De.a'H6854came upוַתַּ֙עַל֙va.Ta.'alH5927and coveredוַתְּכַ֖סva.te.KhasH3680אֶת־'et-H853the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

7But the magiciansהַֽחֲרְטֻמִּ֖יםha.char.tu.MimH2748didוַיַּֽעֲשׂוּ־vai.ya.'a.su-H6213the same thingכֵ֥ןkhenH3651by their magic artsבְּלָטֵיהֶ֑םbe.la.tei.HemH3909,and they also brought frogsH6854upוַיַּעֲל֥וּvai.ya.'a.LuH5927אֶת־'et-H853ontoעַל־'al-H5921the landאֶ֥רֶץ'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.

8PharaohH6547summonedוַיִּקְרָ֨אvai.yik.Ra'H7121MosesH4872and AaronH175and saidוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “Prayהַעְתִּ֣ירוּha'.Ti.ruH6279toH413the LORDH3068to takeוְיָסֵר֙ve.ya.SerH5493the frogsH6854away from meמִמֶּ֖נִּיmi.Me.niH4480and my peopleוּמֵֽעַמִּ֑יu.me.'a.MiH5971.Then I will let your peopleהָעָ֔םha.'AmH5971goוַאֲשַׁלְּחָה֙va.'a.sha.le.ChahH7971אֶת־'et-H853,that they may sacrificeוְיִזְבְּח֖וּve.yiz.be.ChuH2076to the LORDH3068.”

9MosesH4872saidוַיֹּ֣אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559to Pharaohלְפַרְעֹה֮le.far.'OhH6547, “You may have the honorהִתְפָּאֵ֣רhit.pa.'ErH6286over meעָלַי֒'a.LaiH5921.Whenלְמָתַ֣י׀le.ma.TaiH4970shall I prayאַעְתִּ֣יר'a'.TirH6279for youand your officialsוְלַעֲבָדֶ֙יךָ֙ve.la.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650and your peopleוּֽלְעַמְּךָ֔u.le.'a.me.KhaH5971that the frogsH6854(except for thoseרַ֥ק תִּשָּׁאַֽרְנָה׃rak ti.sha.'Ar.nahH7604 H7535in the Nileבַּיְאֹ֖רbay.'OrH2975)may be taken awayלְהַכְרִית֙le.hakh.RitH3772fromH4480you and your housesH1004?”

10“Tomorrowלְמָחָ֑רle.ma.CharH4279,” Pharaohansweredוַיֹּ֖אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559. “May it beas you sayכִּדְבָ֣רְךָ֔kid.Va.re.khaH1697,”Moses repliedוַיֹּ֙אמֶר֙vai.Yo.merH559, “so thatלְמַ֣עַןle.Ma.'anH4616you may knowתֵּדַ֔עte.Da'H3045thatכִּי־ki-H3588there is no oneאֵ֖ין'einH369like the LORDכַּיהוָ֥הka.Yah.wehH3068our Godאֱלֹהֵֽינוּ׃'e.lo.Hei.nuH430.

11The frogsהַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֗יםhatz.far.de.'ImH6854will departוְסָר֣וּve.sa.RuH5493from youמִמְּךָ֙mi.me.KhaH4480and your housesוּמִבָּ֣תֶּ֔יךָu.mib.Ba.Tei.khaH1004and your officialsוּמֵעֲבָדֶ֖יךָu.me.'a.va.Dei.khaH5650and your peopleוּמֵעַמֶּ֑ךָu.me.'a.Me.khaH5971;they will remainתִּשָּׁאַֽרְנָה׃ti.sha.'Ar.nahH7604onlyרַ֥קrakH7535in the Nileבַּיְאֹ֖רbay.'OrH2975.”

12After MosesH4872and AaronH175had leftוַיֵּצֵ֥א מֵעִ֣םvai.ye.Tze' me.'ImH3318 H5973Pharaohפַּרְעֹ֑הpar.'OhH6547,MosesH4872cried out toH413the LORDH3068for helpוַיִּצְעַ֤קvai.yitz.'AkH6817עַל־'al-H5921withדְּבַ֥רde.VarH1697the frogsהַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֖יםhatz.far.de.'ImH6854thatאֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834He had broughtשָׂ֥םsamH7760against Pharaohלְפַרְעֹֽה׃le.far.'OhH6547.

13And the LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068didH6213as Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872requestedכִּדְבַ֣רkid.VarH1697,and the frogsהַֽצְפַרְדְּעִ֔יםhatz.far.de.'ImH6854inמִן־min-H4480the housesהַבָּתִּ֥ים מִן־ha.ba.Tim min-H1004 H4480,the courtyardsהַחֲצֵרֹ֖ת וּמִן־ha.cha.tze.Rot u.min-H2691 H4480,and the fieldsהַשָּׂדֹֽת׃ha.sa.DotH7704diedוַיָּמֻ֙תוּ֙vai.ya.Mu.tuH4191.

14They were piledוַיִּצְבְּר֥וּvai.yitz.be.RuH6651 H853into countless heapsH2563,and there was a terrible stenchוַתִּבְאַ֖שׁva.tiv.'AshH887in the landהָאָֽרֶץ׃ha.'A.retzH776.
