16Then sayוְאָמַרְתָּ֣ve.'a.mar.TaH559to himאֵלָ֗יו'e.LavH413, ‘The LORDיְהוָ֞הYah.wehH3068,the Godאֱלֹהֵ֤י'e.lo.HeiH430of the Hebrewsהָעִבְרִים֙ha.'iv.RimH5680,has sent meשְׁלָחַ֤נִי אֵלֶ֙יךָ֙she.la.Cha.ni 'e.Lei.khaH7971H413to tell youלֵאמֹ֔רle.MorH559:Let My peopleעַמִּ֔י'a.MiH5971goשַׁלַּח֙sha.LachH7971אֶת־'et-H853,so that they may worship Meוְיַֽעַבְדֻ֖נִיve.ya.'av.Du.niH5647in the wildernessבַּמִּדְבָּ֑רba.mid.BarH4057.Butוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009untilעַד־'ad-H5704nowכֹּֽה׃KohH3541you have notלֹא־lo'-H3808listenedשָׁמַ֖עְתָּsha.Ma'.taH8085.
17This is whatכֹּ֚הkohH3541the LORDיְהוָ֔הYah.wehH3068saysאָמַ֣ר'a.MarH559:By thisבְּזֹ֣אתbe.ZotH2063you will knowתֵּדַ֔עte.Da'H3045thatכִּ֖יkiH3588Iאֲנִ֣י'a.NiH589am the LORDיְהוָ֑הYah.wehH3068.Beholdהִנֵּ֨הhi.NehH2009,with the staffבַּמַּטֶּ֣הba.ma.TehH4294אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834in my handבְּיָדִ֗יbe.ya.DiH3027Iאָנֹכִ֜י'a.no.KhiH595will strikeמַכֶּ֣ה׀ma.KehH5221the waterהַמַּ֛יִםha.Ma.yimH4325אֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834of the Nileעַל־ בַּיְאֹ֖ר'al- bay.'OrH2975H5921,and it will turnוְנֶהֶפְכ֥וּve.ne.hef.KhuH2015to bloodלְדָֽם׃le.DamH1818.
18The fishוְהַדָּגָ֧הve.ha.da.GahH1710אֲשֶׁר־'a.Sher-H834in the Nileבַּיְאֹ֛רbay.'OrH2975will dieתָּמ֖וּתta.MutH4191,the riverהַיְאֹ֑רhay.'OrH2975will stinkוּבָאַ֣שׁu.va.'AshH887,and the Egyptiansמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4713will be unableוְנִלְא֣וּve.nil.'UH3811to drinkלִשְׁתּ֥וֹתlish.TotH8354itsמִן־ הַיְאֹֽר׃ סmin- hay.'OrH4480H2975waterמַ֖יִםMa.yimH4325.’”
