8How quickly they haveמַהֵ֗רma.HerH4118turned asideסָ֣רוּSa.ruH5493fromמִן־min-H4480the wayהַדֶּ֙רֶךְ֙ha.De.rekhH1870thatאֲשֶׁ֣ר'a.SherH834I commanded themצִוִּיתִ֔םtzi.vi.TimH6680!They have madeעָשׂ֣וּ'a.SuH6213for themselvesa moltenמַסֵּכָ֑הma.se.KhahH4541calfעֵ֖גֶל'E.gelH5695and have bowed downוַיִּשְׁתַּֽחֲווּ־vai.yish.ta.cha.vu-H7812to it.They have sacrificedוַיִּזְבְּחוּ־vai.yiz.be.chu-H2076to itand saidוַיֹּ֣אמְר֔וּvai.Yo.me.RuH559, ‘Theseאֵ֤לֶּה'E.lehH428,O Israelיִשְׂרָאֵ֔לYis.ra.'ElH3478,are your godsאֱלֹהֶ֙יךָ֙'e.lo.Hei.khaH430,whoאֲשֶׁ֥ר'a.SherH834brought you upהֶֽעֱל֖וּךָhe.'e.Lu.khaH5927out of the landמֵאֶ֥רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרָֽיִם׃mitz.Ra.yimH4714.’”
9The LORDיְהוָ֖הYah.wehH3068also saidוַיֹּ֥אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559toאֶל־'el-H413Mosesמֹשֶׁ֑הmo.ShehH4872, “I have seenרָאִ֙יתִי֙ra.'I.tiH7200אֶת־'et-H853thisהַזֶּ֔הha.ZehH2088peopleהָעָ֣םha.'AmH5971,and theyהֽוּא׃Hu'H1931are indeedוְהִנֵּ֥הve.hi.NehH2009a stiff-neckedקְשֵׁה־ עֹ֖רֶףke.sheh- 'O.refH7186H6203peopleעַם־'am-H5971.
10Nowוְעַתָּה֙ve.'a.TahH6258leave Mealoneהַנִּ֣יחָהha.Ni.chahH5117,so that My angerאַפִּ֥י'a.PiH639may burnוְיִֽחַר־ve.yi.char-H2734against themand consume themוַאֲכַלֵּ֑םva.'a.kha.LemH3615.Then I will makeוְאֶֽעֱשֶׂ֥הve.'e.'e.SehH6213youאוֹתְךָ֖'ot.KhaH853into a greatגָּדֽוֹל׃ga.DolH1419nationלְג֥וֹיle.GoyH1471.”
11But Mosesמֹשֶׁ֔הmo.ShehH4872אֶת־'et-H853sought the favorוַיְחַ֣ל פְּנֵ֖יvay.Chal pe.NeiH2470H6440of the LORDיְהוָ֣הYah.wehH3068his Godאֱלֹהָ֑יו'e.lo.HavH430,sayingוַיֹּ֗אמֶרvai.Yo.merH559, “O LORDיְהוָה֙Yah.wehH3068,whyלָמָ֤הla.MahH4100does Your angerאַפְּךָ֙'a.pe.KhaH639burnיֶחֱרֶ֤הye.che.RehH2734against Your peopleבְּעַמֶּ֔ךָbe.'a.Me.khaH5971,whomאֲשֶׁ֤ר'a.SherH834You broughtהוֹצֵ֙אתָ֙ho.Tze.taH3318out of the landמֵאֶ֣רֶץme.'E.retzH776of Egyptמִצְרַ֔יִםmitz.Ra.yimH4714with greatגָּד֖וֹלga.DolH1419powerבְּכֹ֥חַbe.Kho.achH3581and a mightyחֲזָקָֽה׃cha.za.KahH2389handוּבְיָ֥דu.ve.YadH3027?
12Whyלָמָּה֩la.MahH4100should the Egyptians declareמִצְרַ֜יִםmitz.Ra.yimH559H4713, ‘He brought them outהֽוֹצִיאָם֙ho.tzi.'AmH3318with evil intentבְּרָעָ֤הbe.ra.'AhH7451,to killלַהֲרֹ֤גla.ha.RogH2026themאֹתָם֙'o.TamH853in the mountainsבֶּֽהָרִ֔יםbe.ha.RimH2022and wipe themוּ֨לְכַלֹּתָ֔םu.le.kha.lo.TamH3615fromמֵעַ֖לme.'AlH5921the faceפְּנֵ֣יpe.NeiH6440of the earthהָֽאֲדָמָ֑הha.'a.da.MahH127’?Turnשׁ֚וּבShuvH7725from Your fierceמֵחֲר֣וֹןme.cha.RonH2740angerאַפֶּ֔ךָ'a.Pe.khaH639and relentוְהִנָּחֵ֥םve.hi.na.ChemH5162from doingעַל־'al-H5921harmהָרָעָ֖הha.ra.'AhH7451to Your peopleלְעַמֶּֽךָ׃le.'a.Me.khaH5971.
