1And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872 in the wildernessH4057 of SinaiH5514, in the firstH7223 monthH2320 of the secondH8145 yearH8141 after they were comeH3318 out of the landH776 of EgyptH4714, sayingH559, 2Moreover let the children of IsraelH3478 keep the passoverH6453 in its appointedH4150 season. 3In the fourteenth dayH3117 of this monthH2320, at even, ye shall keep it in its appointedH4150 season: according to all the statutesH2708 of it, and according to all the ordinancesH4941 thereof, shall ye keep it. 4And MosesH4872 spake unto the children of IsraelH3478, that they should keep the passoverH6453. 5And they kept the passoverH6453 in the firstH7223 monthH2320, on the fourteenth dayH3117 of the monthH2320, at even, in the wildernessH4057 of SinaiH5514: according to all that Jehovah commandedH6680 MosesH4872, soH3651 did the children of IsraelH3478. 6And there were certain menH376, who were uncleanH2931 by reason of the dead body of a manH376, so that they could not keep the passoverH6453 on that dayH3117: and they came before MosesH4872 and before AaronH175 on that dayH3117: 7and those menH376 saidH559 unto him, We are uncleanH2931 by reason of the dead body of a manH376: wherefore are we kept back, that we may not offer the oblation of Jehovah in its appointedH4150 season among the children of IsraelH3478? 8And MosesH4872 saidH559 unto them, Stay ye, that I may hearH8085 what Jehovah will commandH6680 concerningH413 you.

9And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 10SpeakH1696 unto the children of IsraelH3478, sayingH559, If any manH376 of you or of your generationsH1755 shall beH1961 uncleanH2931 by reason of a dead body, or beH1961 on a journeyH1870 afarH7350 off, yet he shall keep the passoverH6453 unto Jehovah. 11In the secondH8145 monthH2320 on the fourteenth dayH3117 at even they shall keep it; they shall eatH398 it with unleavenedH4682 breadH4682 and bitterH4844 herbsH4844: 12they shall leaveH7604 none of it unto the morningH1242, nor breakH7665 a boneH6106 thereof: according to all the statuteH2708 of the passoverH6453 they shall keep it. 13But the manH376 that is cleanH2889, and is not on a journeyH1870, and forbeareth to keep the passoverH6453, that soulH5315 shall beH1961 cutH3772 off from his peopleH5971; because he offered not the oblation of Jehovah in its appointedH4150 season, that manH376 shall bearH5375 his sinH2399. 14And if a stranger shall sojourn among you, and will keep the passoverH6453 unto Jehovah; according to the statuteH2708 of the passoverH6453, and according to the ordinanceH4941 thereof, soH3651 shall he do: ye shall have oneH259 statuteH2708, both for the sojournerH1616, and for him that is born in the landH776.

15And on the dayH3117 that the tabernacleH4908 wasH1961 reared up the cloudH6051 coveredH3680 the tabernacleH4908, even the tentH168 of the testimonyH5715: and at even it wasH1961 upon the tabernacleH4908 as it wereH1961 the appearanceH4758 of fireH784, until morningH1242. 16So it wasH1961 alway: the cloudH6051 coveredH3680 it, and the appearanceH4758 of fireH784 by nightH3915. 17And whenever the cloudH6051 was taken up from over the TentH168, then after that the children of IsraelH3478 journeyed: and in the placeH4725 whereH834 the cloudH6051 abode, there the children of IsraelH3478 encampedH2583. 18At the commandment of Jehovah the children of IsraelH3478 journeyed, and at the commandment of Jehovah they encampedH2583: as long as the cloudH6051 abode upon the tabernacleH4908 they remained encampedH2583. 19And when the cloudH6051 tarried upon the tabernacleH4908 manyH7227 daysH3117, then the children of IsraelH3478 keptH8104 the chargeH4931 of Jehovah, and journeyed not. 20And sometimes the cloudH6051 wasH1961 a few daysH3117 upon the tabernacleH4908; then according to the commandment of Jehovah they remained encampedH2583, and according to the commandment of Jehovah they journeyed. 21And sometimes the cloudH6051 wasH1961 from eveningH6153 until morningH1242; and when the cloudH6051 wasH1961 taken up in the morningH1242, they journeyed: or if it continued by dayH3119 and by nightH3915, when the cloudH6051 wasH1961 taken up, they journeyed. 22Whether it were two daysH3117, or a monthH2320, or a year, that the cloudH6051 tarried upon the tabernacleH4908, abiding thereon, the children of IsraelH3478 remained encampedH2583, and journeyed not; but when it was taken up, they journeyed. 23At the commandment of Jehovah they encampedH2583, and at the commandment of Jehovah they journeyed: they keptH8104 the chargeH4931 of Jehovah, at the commandment of Jehovah by MosesH4872.
