38And those that encampH2583 before the tabernacleH4908 eastward, before the tentH168 of meetingH4150 toward the sunrising, shall be MosesH4872, and AaronH175 and his sonsH1121, keepingH8104 the chargeH4931 of the sanctuaryH4720 for the chargeH4931 of the children of IsraelH3478; and the stranger that cometh nigh shall be putH4191 to deathH4191. 39All that were numbered of the LevitesH3881, whom MosesH4872 and AaronH175 numbered at the commandment of Jehovah, by their familiesH4940, all the malesH2145 from a monthH2320 old and upwardH4605, were twentyH6242 and twoH8147 thousandH505.

40And Jehovah saidH559 unto MosesH4872, NumberH4557 all the first-born malesH2145 of the children of IsraelH3478 from a monthH2320 old and upwardH4605, and takeH5375 the numberH4557 of their namesH8034. 41And thou shalt takeH3947 the LevitesH3881 for me (I am Jehovah) instead of all the first-born among the children of IsraelH3478; and the cattleH929 of the LevitesH3881 instead of all the firstlings among the cattleH929 of the children of IsraelH3478. 42And MosesH4872 numbered, as Jehovah commandedH6680 him, all the first-born among the children of IsraelH3478. 43And all the first-born malesH2145 according to the numberH4557 of namesH8034, from a monthH2320 old and upwardH4605, of those that wereH1961 numbered of them, wereH1961 twentyH6242 and twoH8147 thousandH505 twoH8147 hundredH3967 and threescore and thirteen.

44And Jehovah spake unto MosesH4872, sayingH559, 45TakeH3947 the LevitesH3881 instead of all the first-born among the children of IsraelH3478, and the cattleH929 of the LevitesH3881 instead of their cattleH929; and the LevitesH3881 shall beH1961 mine: I am Jehovah. 46And for the redemption of the twoH3967 hundredH3967 and threescore and thirteen of the first-born of the children of IsraelH3478, that are over and above the number of the LevitesH3881, 47thou shalt takeH3947 fiveH2568 shekelsH8255 apiece by the poll; after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944 shalt thou takeH3947 them (the shekelH8255 is twentyH6242 gerahsH1626): 48and thou shalt giveH5414 the moneyH3701, wherewith the odd number of them is redeemed, unto AaronH175 and to his sonsH1121. 49And MosesH4872 tookH3947 the redemption-money from them that were over and above them that were redeemed by the LevitesH3881; 50from the first-born of the children of IsraelH3478 tookH3947 he the moneyH3701, a thousandH505 threeH7969 hundredH3967 and threescore and fiveH2568 shekelsH8255, after the shekelH8255 of the sanctuaryH6944: 51and MosesH4872 gaveH5414 the redemption-money unto AaronH175 and to his sonsH1121, according to the word of Jehovah, as Jehovah commandedH6680 MosesH4872.
