Matthew 7:13-23
13EnterG1525 ye in by the narrowG4728 gateG4439: for wide isG1510 the gateG4439, and broad isG1510 the wayG3598, that leadeth to destructionG684, and manyG4183 areG1510 they that enterG1525 in thereby. 14For narrowG4728 isG1510 the gateG4439, and straitened the wayG3598, that leadeth unto lifeG2222, and fewG3641 areG1510 they that findG2147 it.
15BewareG4337 of falseG5578 prophetsG5578, who comeG2064 to you in sheep’sG4263 clothingG1742, but inwardlyG2081 areG1510 ravening wolvesG3074. 16By their fruitsG2590 ye shall knowG1921 them. Do men gatherG4816 grapes of thornsG173, or figsG4810 of thistles? 17Even so every goodG18 treeG1186 bringeth forth goodG18 fruitG2590; but the corrupt treeG1186 bringeth forth evilG4190 fruitG2590. 18A goodG18 treeG1186 cannot bringG5342 forth evilG4190 fruitG2590, neither can a corrupt treeG1186 bringG5342 forth goodG18 fruitG2590. 19Every treeG1186 that bringeth not forth goodG2570 fruitG2590 is hewn downG1581, and castG906 into the fireG4442. 20ThereforeG686 by their fruitsG2590 ye shall knowG1921 them. 21Not every oneG3588 that saith unto me, LordG2962, LordG2962, shall enterG1525 into the kingdomG932 of heavenG3772; but he that doeth the will of my FatherG3962 who is in heavenG3772. 22ManyG4183 will sayG3004 to me in that dayG2250, LordG2962, LordG2962, did we not prophesyG4395 by thy nameG3686, and by thy nameG3686 castG1544 out demonsG1140, and by thy nameG3686 do manyG4183 mightyG1411 works? 23And then will I profess unto them, I neverG3763 knewG1097 you: depart from me, ye that workG2038 iniquity.
