2 Chronicles 33:11-16
11Wherefore Jehovah broughtH935 upon them the captains of the hostH6635 of the kingH4428 of AssyriaH804, who tookH3920 ManassehH4519 in chains, and boundH631 him with fettersH5178, and carried him to BabylonH894. 12And when he was in distress, he besought Jehovah his GodH430, and humbledH3665 himself greatly before the GodH430 of his fathersH1. 13And he prayedH6419 unto him; and he was entreatedH6279 of him, and heardH8085 his supplicationH8467, and broughtH7725 him again to JerusalemH3389 into his kingdomH4438. Then ManassehH4519 knewH3045 that Jehovah he was GodH430.
14Now after this he builtH1129 an outerH2435 wallH2346 to the cityH5892 of DavidH1732, on the westH4628 side of GihonH1521, in the valley, even to the entrance at the fishH1709 gateH8179; and he compassed OphelH6077 about with it, and raised it up to a veryH3966 great height: and he putH7760 valiant captains in all the fortifiedH1219 citiesH5892 of JudahH3063. 15And he took awayH5493 the foreign godsH430, and the idolH5566 out of the houseH1004 of Jehovah, and all the altarsH4196 that he had builtH1129 in the mount of the houseH1004 of Jehovah, and in JerusalemH3389, and castH7993 them out of the cityH5892. 16And he built up the altarH4196 of Jehovah, and offeredH2076 thereon sacrificesH2077 of peace-offerings and of thanksgivingH8426, and commanded JudahH3063 to serveH5647 Jehovah, the GodH430 of IsraelH3478.
