16At that timeH6256 did kingH4428 AhazH271 sendH7971 unto the kingsH4428 of AssyriaH804 to helpH5826 him. 17For againH5750 the EdomitesH130 had comeH935 and smitten JudahH3063, and carried away captivesH7628. 18The PhilistinesH6430 also had invaded the citiesH5892 of the lowland, and of the SouthH5045 of JudahH3063, and had takenH3920 Beth-shemeshH1053, and AijalonH357, and GederothH1450, and Soco with the towns thereof, and TimnahH8553 with the towns thereof, Gimzo also and the towns thereof: and they dweltH3427 there. 19For Jehovah brought JudahH3063 low because of AhazH271 kingH4428 of IsraelH3478; for he had dealt wantonly in JudahH3063, and trespassed sore against Jehovah.
